I see a lot of emphasis on lines like American Crafts, Echo Park, Simple Stories, Doodlebug, Photoplay, etc. Those seem to be the ones we discuss and most of the layouts on the sharing thread use those brands.
Does anyone else dabble with the non-US lines?
I sometimes use Mintay (Poland), Stamperia (Italy), Asuka (Japan), P13 (Poland), etc. They aren't my go-to lines. They can be a little challenging to work with, because they are a bit "fussy". But some of my favorite layouts were done using these lines.
I know Prima is an American company but their aesthetic is more in line with the companies outside the US.
Does anyone else use these kind of papers/embellishments?

I follow some scrappers on Instagram that live in Spanish speaking countries. Isn't it google chrome that will translate websites? Anyway, I really like the products they use, but get confused when I go to the website. They remind me of syncopathdesign. She's American, but a small business owner. I bought her reading kit.

Rosie’s Studio from Australia. I’ve been wanting to see this line in person.

Since I'm Polish I use a lot of local companies - much cheaper than ordering from the US. Below is a list of some of my favs: www.studioforty.pl/ - they have few internationals on their DT paperheaven.pl/lemoncraft.pl/pl/uhkgallery.pl/index.phpStudio 40's designs include PL cards. Their designs are rather clean and simple. The last 3 companies on the list have more vintage or shabby chick vibe to their collections.

I love Mintay, Stamperia, P13, 3Quarter Designs, and Kaisercraft. I have to check out all those other companies that were mentioned. Great question!

The Australian and Canadian papers don't really have that style that I'm talking about. Wild Whisper certainly has it's own style but it doesn't have that very ornate aesthetic. I have used it- they have interesting themes but the shiny paper bugs me. Kaisercraft might be a little this way, but not a lot. I mostly have bought their wood shapes. They have great wood shapes. Cocoa Vanilla looks pretty much like an American line. I do like the boy lines they make. I've scrapped a bunch with all 3 of the last boy lines.
Mintay and Stamperia have a lot of papers where it is a scene, not a repeating pattern. They require quite a bit of fussy cutting to use on traditional scrap pages. I think they are mostly designed for paper crafting, not scrapping, but I use them on regular layouts.
I'm constantly on the lookout for something different than the same old, same old. I'm tired of manufacturers like Echo Park that seem to come out with the same darn thing year after year.

I enjoy using Mintay, Asuka, and Stamperia for cards. Their papers are lovely, but not my scrapping style and often too busy. But, cut them down and they make beautiful cards! I use to get a lot of Kaisercraft, but don't ever really see it around anymore, so I don't search it out. I also really like Paper Rose! I don't really like the sheen on their papers, but they have lots of awesome and original designs! And, dies too!

A new Canadian one I’ve bought a few things from is simplystateddesign.ca/ . Some of her papers I have trouble figuring out what I’d cover up with my photo. Very pretty but more like art on its own than a background. I bought some of her book tags and embellishments and her baking line. I also got grammadee some winter gnomes stuff for her birthday.

Uniquely Creative was included in some of my NJFB kits and I really liked it. I just went to their website and ordered their new line. Let's see how long it takes to get it. The last time I ordered from Australia it was just as covid hit and it took a whole month to get here.

Has Dress My Craft been mentioned? I think they are from India. Their papers are not as ornate as Mintay etc but still very different than American companies. I bought pieces of this collection for my pregnancy mini-album: www.scrapbook.com/store/dmc-dmcp5842.html Their papers do have a slight sheen (I bought the 6x6 pad) and I wasn’t able to get stickers, just water transfer sheets ( ) but I do like the designs. Also worth noting this was the only pregnancy specific product I could find out there! I was grateful a company decided to use this theme, because it is ever so slightly different than just a “baby” theme.

My last order was mostly all non-US lines. I am sort of tired of the same themes and color schemes I guess. I purchased Paper Rose, Cocoa Vanilla and Ciao Bella. I love Ciao Bella's website too bcz they show more detailed photos than the distributors. Also Ciao Bella has different size pads and different elements like just vellum pieces, or cut out pieces, patterns, or more scenery.
They are different lines, more artsy, and I am in love.
More on the lines... Cocoa Vanilla No Limits - I like the color scheme/boy theme Paper Rose Studio Cake Time - I got the 1 pattern paper with all the cake journal cards for making greeting cards. Paper Rose Studio Fine Print - black & white, text type patterns. Ciao Bella Blue Note - It's a music/jazz/sort of new orleans theme, but also has other city elements. Ciao Bella Farmhouse Garden - love the sunflowers Ciao Bella London Calling - fell in love with this line and making a folio for my trip to London in December. It's all snowy and city and love it.
Also love the quality and color of the papers from these lines. All purchased from Cheap Scrapbook Stuff during their Memorial day sale.

Couldn't remember the name of it, justjac: love those papers and diecuts! Used some and have stowed the rest away for next winter season. And scrapcat, I have one Ciao Bella line and love it. So vibrant and fun. And a set of Paper Rose Studio 6x8 cards: really pretty.

Rarely. They're either too busy/feminine/floral/scenic/photorealistic/dated or similar to other products on the market (that cost less per item & don't require detail/fussy cutting which I avoid). Plus, I dislike & don't want to risk receiving glossy papers (since product descriptions typically lack this basic information).

Another interesting question artbabe. I'm not familiar with a lot of the lines mentioned but I have purchased some P13 that was beautiful. And I miss seeing Kaisercraft products; I always liked them. Some of the mentioned lines that are "scene-centric" are really hard for me to use. They're beautiful but I can't really find a way to use them with my photos. Pretty enough to be framed though. Another line that I had purchased some time ago was Dusty Attic. Their die-cuts are beautiful. But they're hard to find and I can't justify international shipping.

I've never seen Simply Stated Design before. There are some really neat embellishments there. The paper is pretty pricey for being one-sided, though.
I forgot about Ciao Bella. I love them! I really like grunge papers and embellishments and they have a lot of neat stuff that fits with that. I especially like their stencils and stamps.

I love Stamperia. It is so pretty. I have an owl I need to scrap and they have several lines with owls and I don't know which one to pick.

I recently discovered Lora Bailora which I think is based out of Spain. Her new outdoors/travel collection is adorable but it seems to be difficult to source in the US. Her website has US shipping though so that is an option.
