FaBOOlous
Acorn lane
What's Cookin?
Life in Bloom
I think this is a re-release. Not sure if its identical to the first one? Just my personal opinion, but I'm a little disappointed to see the Simple Stories more recent trend towards 70's colors with mustard yellow, brown, pink and aqua in the What's Cooking line. I might be in the minority, but I wish they would go back to the brighter, more primary colors.

I don't need any Halloween. I love the acorn stencil from Acorn Lane - I like the rest of that collection but don't need it.
What's cookin? is going on my wishlist.
I like the gingham papers from Life in Bloom

I like the color scheme in FaBOOlous and the little birds and foxes in Acorn Lane. I may get a few pieces of those collections.
Thanks for sharing!

I really like the blue paired with that golden yellow/mustard color. I already really like the birds. I might get a die cut pack for those.

I really like Acorn Lane. Simple Vintage Life In Bloom must be a re-release?

Overall, I find this release feminine, floral, & similar to other collections. I like the stencil & basic plaid patterned paper (for basketball layouts) from FaBOOlous! but have similar in my existing inventory. Nothing is added to my wish list. TFS. ... Life in Bloom
I think this is a re-release. Not sure if its identical to the first one? ... Per the link (ACOT), "This popular line from February 2023 is back for a limited re-print!" so should be the same as the original (i.e. SS Simple Vintage Life In Bloom).

I really liked the FaBOOlous line. I think the thing that stuck out for me was the use of the green in the line. I rarely see Halloween papers with that dark more forest green in them. Acorn Lane had me with the foxes. So cute , but I don't need Halloween or fall though. I didn't care for the colors in What's Cookin and never take pictures of me cooking or food. Life in Bloom looks a lot like other releases.

FaBOOlous - I like the B side (little black and orange hearts on cream) of "Hey, Girl Hey".
Acorn Lane - I probably won't purchase because we don't really have Autumn where I live, but I like either the A or B side of almost all the papers. I also appreciate that the sticker sheet includes the word "Autumn". I might pick up a few papers or maybe the 6x8 pad to do a TN layout.
What's Cookin'? - I am not into the cooking, baking, 50s/60s/70s vibe, but I do like some of the B sides as individual papers. Probably will pass.
Life in Bloom - One of my all time favorites. I'm going to check my stash to see what I missed out on the first time around, and snap it up so I can finish my mini album.

I passed on Life in Bloom and don't plan to pick any of it up this time around either.
Despite not celebrating halloween I like a few pieces in this line, and will no doubt have to talk myself out of buying the pretty things. The embellishments in the autumn line are appealing, especially the little birds, but many of our trees remain green through autumn and winter so I don't have much use for the theme.
I really wanted to like What's Cookin' but it's just too retro and flowery for my taste.

I like the Halloween line's color scheme a lot. A rusty orange with grey is a great combo. No neon green or bright purple.

I like the muted color palette of FaBOOlous (I hated typing that!) I actually might need Halloween paper, so some of this could end up in the my stash.
At first glance I thought What's Cookin would go into my cart, but then I started looking at it more closely and meh! Why are there so many floral things in a line about cooking? It also has that baby poop brownish color I try to avoid.
My wallet is somewhat safe, I guess.

I really love FaBOOlous and Acorn Lane. I don't need any Halloween, but I might get Acorn Lane. It looks cream based, though, and I prefer white.
I love What's Cookin? It reminds me of October Afternoon.

FaBOOlous: My Halloween bin is close to empty, so I will be looking for a few papers and extras. Not sure if those will be from this line. Nothing reaches out to grab me, but it's nice.
What's Cookin'?: I am a sucker for kitchen themed scrapping supplies. Will pick this up. Love the cutting board journaling spot.
Acorn Lane: I love the slate blue in the collection name. Wish there were more of that in the papers.
Life in Bloom: I like the gingham and coordinating solids.

FaBOOlous - I really like this one a lot. The monster, ghost, scarecrow, skeleton, raven, and cat are so cute! I'm running out of Halloween photos to scrap but I think I'll buy a bit of this.
Acorn lane - I love the foxes but the rest of the line doesn't do a lot for me.
What's Cookin? - I'll buy a couple of pieces because I have a ton of baking photos to scrap. I love the "Best" Homes and Gardens cookbook. I have that one.
Life in Bloom - I already bought it. That reminds me to go back and use it again.

I like the cutaparts in What's Cooking, but as others have said, would have preferred brighter colors. Guess that means I'll need to purchase some paper also, lol.

I like FaBOOlous a lot, but I have no use for Halloween. It's cute though and I like the colors. I also like Acorn Lane, but again don't really need it. I have so much Fall and I don't use it like I should, so I don't need more. I might grab a few things though. The foxes are cute and new! What's cookin' doesn't really interest me. Life in Bloom I already have.
Thanks for sharing!

Yawn.
It’s been said a million times before, but can we please get a non pink frilly apron cooking line? My son loves to cook, makes one of the best steaks I’ve ever eaten. Never once has he worn a pink frilly apron. Pink and brown are so dated. Not a fan of this one.
I don’t care for any of these tbh.

The Halloween is cute...I like the addition of the soft pink and the dark green, but I don't have Halloween photos, so will likely pass on this unless I can buy a couple of the less themed sheets.
I found Acorn Lane a bit underwhelming. I like the blue. I don't have a lot of use for the foxes, and I still have lots of fall paper, so can likely just take a pass on this. Will not look again so as not to develop a real liking for it--sometimes I get tempted when I take a closer look.
I am hoping I can buy some pieces of What's Cookin'--I agree that a lot of the florals are misplaced on this. I think it doesn't really belong together, although I like some of them, especially the pink and mustard on the brown background. That said, lots of pieces of this would be useful to me and I think I could use it with some much older AC paper that I have so that would be a win-win.

FaBOOlous - I love the Floral Ephemera, I like that more companies are coming out with an additional ephemera pack that focuses on florals. I really like the crows in it. Their ephemera packs in general are really cute for this line. I like the "chills" foam sticker. The banner in the chipboard stickers is cute, too. I like the colour palette, too. If I didn't have so much fall stuff I'd consider getting it, but I have to use up more of what I have first.
Acorn Lane - I'm not feeling it. I'm not sure exactly why. The colours maybe. I like the foxes. But, an easy pass for me.
What's Cooking - I wish I had this collection about 10-15 years ago. I was so into whole foods cooking and baking and subscribed to a CSA and went to Farmer's Market and even made my own butter a few times. I ordered local chickens and eggs and beef, I baked my own sourdough, you name it, I did it. I was so into it all, but then one crisis after another hit my family and that all went by the wayside while I just did what I could to get through it all. I would have loved to have used this collection to document all of that. I didn't take many photos of it, since I was the one doing it and I rarely photograph myself and my own things. Lesson learned, I would document all of it, now. It makes me nostalgic and a bit sad, I don't think I'll buy it but if I see it in person I may pick up a piece or two.

FaBOOlous is indeed fabulous and giving Pebbles Halloween vibes. I will absolutely need some of the embellishments for the crows, deadly tea mugs and Frankenstein's monster.
Acorn Lane's colour scheme is lovely. And the foxes, oh the foxes! 🦊💛🦊

I haven’t bought any SS since Traci Reed left and they hired the Crate Paper designer. They pretty much look like Crate Paper now (except for the Simple Vintage), and Crate Paper isn’t really my style.

I will need some of the fox from Acorn Lane - as well as the little orange kitty. (my orange kitty is named Foxtrot - he looks like a fox)
I keep thinking how the manufacturers keep using the same color schemes, but now I am wondering if that is on purpose so the lines can be mixed & matched and still coordinate?
Otherwise, I do not need any more Halloween, I am well stocked up.

I really dislike that brown is making a comeback as it’s often paired with cream as the neutral. Not a fan of either!
I like some of the FaBoo collection, like the die cuts and the cat & pink ghost papers.

I’m just disappointed that SS used to be my go-to, and now it rarely makes my want-to-buy list.
