Trying again ... how do I re-size??? This is our third year of having the cat, so we still haven't put on our delicate ornaments yet. We leave the bottom layer of branches pretty bare, too. She likes to chew on the ends, but so far she hasn't tried to climb it. She likes to lay on the tree skirt ... or under it. (Artificial) Look at your meticulous beading and garland! Each swag is perfection!

Love your vintage Shiny Brites and Polands! A white tree is just so pretty! Thank you! I collected the vintage ornaments over the course of a few years at yard sales. The stories the people selling them would tell me we're just so heartwarming. So many beautiful trees on this thread!

This is our 9ft tree in our living room.
Then this is a photo that shows the 7 1/2 foot tree in the front room and the 8ft in the entry way.
I wish I had pics of the rest of it to share with all of you! We put up 9 trees that are all 6ft and taller and then we have 7 other little trees that are all 2 and 3ft tall.

Wow. I'd love a zoom in on those stockings. They look like individual works of art. Did you make them or purchase them?

Gorgeous!!! I'd love to know what the white is on the branches - did the tree come like that debi, or is it something you put on the branches. (Also, I can't tell from the photo whether the tree is real or not - if it's real, ignore the part where I asked if the tree came like that!! )

I am loving all the photos! It's just me this year, so I decided not to get a tree. Just not feeling it this year. I used to have a 7 ft artificial tree, but sold that at a garage sale. I thought about getting a little table top one, but nah.

Finally getting around to this one! It is a fairly dreary day here - and I don't have an overhead light in the front room, so the photo is a tad dark. But the first one is my full tree. The second is a closeup showing some of my Hallmark Father Christmas collection. The year my Dad passed away (in February) I decided I wanted to start a Hallmark collection in his memory. Christmas was his very favourite time of the year. He would randomly call you (like in July) to tell you how many days there were left until Christmas. As luck would have it, this Father Christmas series was started the Christmas before he passed. So I managed to find the first in the series on eBay. Every Christmas Eve, we hang the new Father Christmas on the tree to remember him. The last is a collage of some of my other decor - my nativity set, my santa collection and my mantel.

I thought about getting a little table top one, but nah. I saw some 19 dollar trees at the food store. Very cute little trees with a stand already attached. All you need is some white lights. I think it should be a gift you give yourself this year. I can almost guarantee it will make you "feel" better, even if just for a moment.

I actually did buy a tree yesterday. It's a live tree, small, think Charlie Brown, but cute. It was only $5 at Wally World! It came with 4 little red ornaments, but I bought a few more for miniture trees and a tree skirt. I'll post a photo later if I can figure out how to from my phone! I still need to make a star for it. The ones they had at the store would have been too heavy.

OhYvonne.....I know some sweet ballerinas who would just LOVE this tree!!! I love the way it glows, and all the colors!!! Thanks, I love that they do it so willingly, too! DD was so busy with school stuff this year she mentioned she didn't know when or if she would get up her tree. Before finishing her thought she changed her mind and said, "maybe Wednesday" (or whatever day). Yes! She'll be 18 next year, so is this the last year I can "make her"? I'd be happy if they took their trees with them when they move out (gasp!) and gift me with a picture every year-forever! Can't you see them at 20, 30, 40 with same pathetic trees! Hmmmm... request to be made tomorrow for my forever mommy gifts! montanacowgirl I think you have one of my dream homes-love! (nice trees, too)

I am the crazy person who puts a tree in almost every room. We are hosting two foreign exchange students this year and decorated even more than usual. We ended up with 19 total! Loving everyone's trees! These are the living room (our only real tree), the master bedroom and our library/loft.
