Friday I'm going to Rehoboth Beach, Delaware. My family has gone there many, many years. My mom went when she was little and my parents' first vacation was there. We haven't gone since covid, so I'm really excited to go and spend time with my nephews.
It got me thinking. I tend to put things in albums by subject/event. For example all of my Christmas layouts are in two separate albums- semi chronologically. I know that isn't how most people do it but it is an easy way for me to organize a zillion layouts, especially when some of them are undated and I'm just guessing at the kids' ages.
I have the most albums about Rehoboth. I have 4 albums and a bajillion photos I haven't scrapped yet. I think every time I sit down to scrap I make at least one beach layout.
Some of my other most scrapped layouts are Christmas, zoo visits, going out with friends, and selfies.
What subject/event do you scrap the most?

I guess it would be start of the school year, birthdays, and holidays (Christmas and Halloween being the 2 most scrapped). I do chronological scrapbooking/pocket pages and just recently started DD (2 albums - 2021 and 2022).
Everything else is events and outtings which aren't always the same every year. I mean you have school events but those can change up too.

Most is daily life stuff (project life style). But I have four categories that I scrap the most and the each have their own albums.

Sports--mostly baseball & football for my oldest son...sooooo many baseball & football pictures!
After that, these days it's usually something to do with food.

probably travel - mine or more often, my kids
Christmas/December for sure
and then everyday and everyday cats
I organise mainly chronological - travel gets it's own album(s) when there are enough layouts to justify it (most of the time but DS's recent Denmark detachment doesn't have a ton of pics so will probably go in the regular album for him and DD)

My biggest are family events. My boys are 19/21 so the cutesy picture days are over. Mostly events, our pool parties and bbq's, their friends when they come over and holidays/vacations.

I am basically an event scrapper, but stow the pages chronologically. But "event" can have a really broad definition. For example, if I drive to see one of the "kids" and their families, that is an event that will have many different pages in that season's album.
Some recurring themes are kids' sports (hockey, baseball, soccer mostly), their interests at the time (maybe gaming or reading or bike riding, etc).
Each season has some repeated themes: fall leaves, winter outdoor activities & holiday tradtions, Easter egg colouring, gardening, beach/lake time. Also things the kids have done with me like baking, jam making, crafting.
I try to do a page for each birthday, but don't always have the photos. And when I see the dgk's, I like to do photo shoots with them so I can showcase their interests and personalities.
I have put together whole albums of specific adventures, but usually vacation LO's end up in the album for when the vacation was taken.

I'm not sure. The last few years, it's been more of the everyday things. The peaches from our tree, random photos of my kids, a town event, screenshot of a weather forecast app, food, occasionally a photo of the front cover of a newspaper, and lots of other little things. I do include the bigger things too but typically don't take much time making any page since I use divided sheet protectors. It's all thrown into one family album.
I do have separate scrapbooks for holidays that I put out with the decorations. Those are the ones with more embellished pages and possibly a bit more journaling. I definitely enjoy scrapping Halloween more than Christmas.

Probably outdoors/hiking/national parks, etc. Because we do that a lot. And also dog layouts, lol.

Disney! Those are my happiest memories. We went for the first time in 2017 and I still have hundreds upon hundreds of photos to scrap.

For me, it is mainly travel. We are empty nesters who live a long way from family, so not many family events these days. I am starting to do more about my grandchildren of the things we do together when I visit them.

I stan Christmas so that season is definitely most scrapped. Besides December, I take the most photos in June/July and October. We do many of the same things every year -- strawberry picking, beach trips, pumpkin patch, fall photos at a local park, etc. -- so sometimes I have up to 14 years' worth of an event scrapped.

Family trips. I have one album that is 8 trips to Vegas with our kids ranging 5-7 to 15-17 ten years later. That album tracks me up because you can see them row up in that one (4 inch thick) album. We go somewhere every year with our kids and now their wives.

Every day life - project life. That is basically all I do. If there’s an event, it gets put into the week as part of every day life. The except I guess is not I’m also doing December daily albums (which is really still every day life- just in December If I break down the type of things I include in my Pl life the most it would be: Places we go My dogs House building progress Food

Enjoy your time at the beach! I live about 90 minutes away and was just there in Rehoboth a few weeks ago. The weather has been cool lately and I imagine the water is cold. We’ve only had one day above 90 degrees this year and it’s supposed to rain off and on this weekend.
I think I scrap family events the most. They are the focus of my scrapping and I am making an album for each grandchild.

I scrap hockey the most, buy far. At least, right now, as it is my grandson's obsession. I have separate hockey albums for him.
I was ridiculously happy that he played for a new team this summer, so new jersey colors to work with!

Christmas & Travel. I love Christmas so I tend to do 8+ pages every year on it. We also go to Orange Beach 2x a year so I'm always scrapping those pics (as well as any other travel pics).

My primary scrap subject is our (now college-aged) son. Over the years, I've scrapped (& still have yet to scrap) many sports & travel (to major cities) related layouts.

I haven't scrapped lately but when I did it was mainly everyday life (pocket page/project life). Behind that would be older trips and my children.

I make scrapbooks for my children and grandchildren. Since I have 3 children and 8 grandchildren, it keeps me busy. Most of them have 2 books, or even more. I’m trying to create lifetime memories for all of them.

Oh, WEDDINGS! I attended 6 weddings last year alone, many of which included pre-wedding events (rehearsal dinners, etc). Although I was tired of scrapping weddings by the end, it was fun to give each wedding their own unique look in my albums.

Soccer😬. I have been a soccer mom for over 20 years. I also love to photograph the games. I do limit it, but soccer has also lead to a lot of travel which I’m including in this umbrella. I will say that I generally hate soccer theme papers because they almost always clash with their uniforms so I usually have to think out of the box. mikklynn-i totally understand the thrill of a new uniform

Mostly family stuff. Way behind. Slow and not-so-steady. I guess what I have scrapbooked the most is work-related. I've made several sb-s for retirees at the place I also retired from. That's one of the reasons I'm so behind on my own sb-ing.

In this phase of my life I am mostly a travel scrapper. I am currently working on a mini album of Snapchat selfies my daughter and I took together for fun. But otherwise I like doing our vacations.
My kids are 15 and 21 now and don’t want their pics taken as much so I’ve moved on from kid scrapping 😊
