Does anyone else struggle with titles? I can manage the obvious ones that go with certain events/locations/days etc, but I Hoover at the simple everyday photos that I just like and want in my scrapbook.
Right now I’m working on a single photo of my adult son and his 2 yo nephew playing together in our back yard. Honestly I don’t even remember if it was summer or spring or winter for that matter, because, Texas.😝
What are some titles y’all use or ideas for those just nice pictures with no real “theme” or whatever?

I am on the struggle bus when coming up with titles. I usually write my journaling in a notebook first to figure out what I actually want to say, and making sure I cover the basic facts too. Sometimes a title will naturally come out of that exercise, when I’m playing with words. I also remember reading here that 3x4 cards can be useful to come up with a title, or support a title. That’s all I got! If there was an ongoing thread created for title ideas, I wouldn’t be mad! The peas are a seriously creative bunch!

I know we've had some really fun brainstorming for titles on the board before. Puns, wit, play on words, it's a great and easy way to help a fellow Pea out. For your LO, justcindy, how about "Backyard Funcle" (play on 'backyard fun') for the title with a subtitle or asterisk that gives the definition for 'funcle' ("like a dad, but cooler")?

The journaling idea is awesome, thank you! I’m definitely going to try that!
And I like the funcle idea, lol!!

I can usually come up with some good titles. My issue is sometimes being one or two or three letters short....of alphabet stickers or chipboard, to make the title.
Here's some ideas for you: Fun in the sun! Play time! Being an Uncle rocks! Uncle-Nephew time Big kid - Little kid

Titles are the worst and that's why I do smaller albums because there's usually no room for a title.

Titles are my jam lol! I like to think I’m witty…🤪 Lots of the Peas have title talent and I’m sure they’d be willing to share.

Okay I am really tired today because I read that as Ugh Tities. 😆
Anyways...
Yes sometimes I do. Especially for repeated layouts that happen every year - school, Christmas, summer events. Sometimes I go basic because I can't think of anything new.

I struggle with titles as well. Some of the things I do when I'm stuck: Brainstorm: Look at the photos and write down words and phrases that come to mind Pull a word or phrase from my journaling. Check Pinterest for layouts with a similar theme or topic (e.g. outdoor play) to see if there is a title I like. Tune into You Tube: I recently stumbled upon titles that worked for two pages I just happened to be working on and had not settled on a title for. Here is an article I saved that addresses page titles. It has some ideas that might be helpful. www.scrapbookingcoach.com/5-tips-to-creating-catchy-scrapbook-titles-for-your-layouts/

I love coming up with titles for my layouts!
When the kids were little, often my titles came from funny things they said or words they mispronounced. My oldest son called his matchbox cars "Car Cars" and I used that as a title for a page. I try to look at photos and the first thing that comes to mind I will use as a title... long or short, this method works well for me.

Oh how I hate creating titles! It takes me forever. So many of my l/o-s have to live w/o a title. I've got a l/o on my table right now that's been waiting for a title for several days. Sorry I'm no help justcindy.

If I start thinking about it too much, I get stuck. But lately, I am trying to use my thicker phrases.
