I agree with MichyM - do people really care if they are tagged or not? I will admit saying “I love this girl” when 2 friends are in the picture is a bit insensitive. The tagging is a nonissue for me as well. Saying “I love this girl” when two people are in a picture reminds me of jr. high drama. One week Sally is the head cheerleader’s best friend, and Suzy is snubbed. The next week Suzy is the head cheerleader’s bestie and Sally is sitting alone in the cafeteria.

I’m wondering why you care. This would be a non-event for me. This is a common posting style of hers. She will post a group photo and only tag certain people. I’ve been in photos with her and she doesn’t always tag me. I just think, meh, whatever. The photo I mentioned in the OP was just so “in your face” to me. For one, the photo wasn’t even about her. As mentioned above, seems very high schoolish. This is why sometimes I don’t like social media. Anyways, I just posted because I was curious what others thought. Oh, and this is on IG, which behaves a little different than FB with regards to posting and tagging.
