Your cards are really pretty, azcrafty. I like the metallic accents on the pots- ties in so nicely with the foiled patterned paper. May I ask which manufacturer(s) makes the plants and pots dies?

I watched, I printed, I chose papers from my stash yesterday, I cut this morning. Sentiment/image and things like that still TBD.

I used one 12x12 paper, both sides, to make a half-Sheetload to try out the sketch. I made a bonus card with the offcuts and only had 3 tiny scraps to add to the insides. No waste! Used a stamp I bought recently for the sentiment, a subtle pun. I was happy to find a good way to use this paper that I love   July Sheetload by jo.blackford, on Flickr |

Yes, I think so. Lately when I make a SLoC to donate I do put a couple in my stash. If I don't use them, it's easy enough to put them back in the donation pile.
I bought a bunch of fun birthday print papers at Joann, discovered none of them coordinate with one another, found the diamond pattern in my stash, went out to Joann to get the purple solid for matting (love that red-violet/maroon/whatever color, but doesn't match all the bluer violets I have). And then after all that, somehow, they're not the fun and kid-friendly birthday cards I thought I was going to make. But they're not super girly or anything either. I guess they're just neutral, somewhat understated birthday cards. Which ought to be good for donating, right?

Thanks Except for the dimensional ones that I’ll keep, they’ll probably all go to Bring Smiles to Seniors, or I might check with Jill who runs the RWB drive and see if she can use them since they’re fairly juvenile. I think I might have enough holiday cards to justify another box to BSTS. |
