I would read the old board multiple times a day but only posted here and there. I think I may have only had 300 or so posts if that. But since people had SO MANY posts, even with that number I considered myself a "lurker".

I always felt like the outsider, intimidated by trying to break into an already-formed clique. So I lurked to get an idea of how things worked. Then felt like a stalker. I hereby declare that I will now try to be a part of things! Exactly what Debbie said!!!

I never lurked on purpose. Lol. Just had nothing to say or everyone else had already said it so it just seemed redundant. I will do better here though!

I've already posted more than I did in the 100 years or so I was on the old site - but - I did lurk there everyday, OK, a lot more than once a day

I'm making every effort. I've already have about a dozen posts more than the old board. It always seems when I need an answer or advice about something a thread magically appears. I'm okay with that too.

Previous long time lurker/occasional poster checking in. So happy to find you all! Will try to be more active on his board.

I am going to try but like others have said its "hard" to break in to a new clique and thats what its like here in a way. Or somedays I really only have time to read a few things then I am off to do other stuff. But I want to try and make some new friends here!

Just know though that it's possible to overcome that feeling. I'm certainly not in any clique and my guess is that the only people that recognise me are UK peeps and that's probably historical from my UKScrappers days. I do hope that more people are feeling that they are welcome to join in.

I'd like to think that I will but honestly, it isn't likely. I would usually skip replying to posts if I had nothing new to add. I find the same thing happening here.

Many times, someone had already posted what I was thinking, so I didn't bother adding my reply to threads. I do see this new board as a fresh start, though, and I hope to become a more active participant. I feel like I "know" many Peas after all the years on the 2 Peas site. Guess now it is time to let you all get to know me a little better! ~Ronda

I really hope so. Unfortunately what kept me from posting at the pod was usually work, kids, and life. I don't see those changing..I'm gonna try though!

I've been trying. I've already posted far more than in several years on Two Peas, and just added a picture and signature line. I even started a post to ask how to do that! It's less intimidating here, which helps a lot.

Lonnnnggggtime lurker here! I plan to interact more on this board than I did at the old board. I'm pretty introverted IRL, and it definitely affects how much I put myself out there online. Going to try, though - fingers crossed!

I'd like to think that I will but honestly, it isn't likely. I would usually skip replying to posts if I had nothing new to add. I find the same thing happening here. Then how about coming up with a topic (fluffy or not) and STARTING a thread? It's a good way to get to know people. And also, think of it this way. There are apparently tons of lurkers out there who may have lots in common. If you guys would all start posting, you'd get to know each other AND the posters who have historically been more active. And the more threads that are posted, the more there is for everyone to read!

I was a mostly lurker on twopeas for over 13 years, it's unlikely I'll be more than that here but you never know! I do love reading though and contribute when I feel like I have something helpful to say. Twopeas was my go-to place when I was looking for answers to something (just got back from a trip to New York where we found most of our meals from peas suggestions).

When I started reading NSBR the board moved so fast there was never a shortage of things to read. I was lost for a few days without my nightly reading material before I realized the boards were shut down so I will make an effort to contribute here to keep the board going. I hope others will too.

I'm trying. I lurk a lot, and often it's because my comments wouldn't add to the conversation- just more of the same.

Another one who thinks its hard to break in. But everyone seems so willing to help us lurkers continue to post so I will try.

I think it is easier to post here quickly. I think all of my responses have been quick replies so far.

I'm finding this board much easier to use than the old 2Peas. I like that I get notifications if somebody likes or responds to a post I make. I also like the cool font/color options. Now, I just need to try to post a picture!

I've been a pea since July 2007 but read the boards longer than that. I only posted 22 times in those years and the majority of those posts were in the Gallery. This is my first post here so hopefully I'll be better at participating this time around!

I am going to try, but I do hate "piling on" and saying 'yeah, me too' when everything has already been said.

I think that I will as long as it stays civil. I don't mind a hot topic or a discussion where people disagree, but there were a couple of peas on the NSBR board that were mean just to be mean. They really turned me off of posting. I only posted a handful of times because it seemed that if my opinion deferred from "Those That Shall Not Be Named", I would be flamed.
