And here is my example of the sketch. 2 weeks ago we adopted a new female dog for dd. Her therapy dog had to be out doen last October due to stage 4 kidney disease. She was only 8 years old. Started when she was about 3. We failed in November with a rescue that had behaviors we couldn't handle due to his previous neglectful situation. So we took some time to heal and wait. This sweetie is 3 years old and was listed as a shih tzu mix. We think she is shih tzu, terrier, maltese, and maybe corgi. We will be doing an Embark DNA in Sept. Dd is thrilled it is working out and Toby is really warming up to his new sister. He will be 8 in Oct. She said this is the best $25 we have ever spent! Yes, her adoption was $25. Toby was $35 and had AKC papers. You will be seeing a lot of Hope.  |

Thanks for the sketch, pantsonfire. When I saw it I was thinking, "maybe this will get me to leave some white space on my page". Have printed it out and hope to use it soon. Then I came back and saw your PAGE! Who needs white space when you have happy pp like that? Love the story, the photo, the little strips of doggie and happy papers, those puffy hearts--well, everything! |

Thanks for the sketch, pantsonfire. When I saw it I was thinking, "maybe this will get me to leave some white space on my page". Have printed it out and hope to use it soon. Then I came back and saw your PAGE! Who needs white space when you have happy pp like that? Love the story, the photo, the little strips of doggie and happy papers, those puffy hearts--well, everything! Thanks! I too was going to do white paper but when I went through these papers were lined up in my Iris and I was like ohhhhhhh pretty! |

Oh and the rainbow strip is paper and the other two strips are washi tape I have had for years. I think from Michael's.

The left page is my take on the sketch. I used a watercolour background I created with Vicki Boutin Foundations cs and Tim Holtz Oxide inks. The photo is a different orientation and I am missing the banner. But I got the little title cluster and that is part of a sketch I often miss.  On our way to Sun Fun by Gramma Dee, on Flickr Thanks, pantsonfire for the sketch. I also met several of the LCDS prompts and the sketch helped me draw them together. |
