Im desperate needs of some new jeans (I don’t wear leggings so jeans are my go-to whenever possible) considering ordering some Judy Blues for the first time. Of course there’s nowhere nearby that carries them so I’ll have to order and need some help with sizing.
Looking at relaxed and boyfriend style (usually wear skinny but I need to spread my wings a bit). I think it’s boyfriend fit they say to go down 2 sizes 😱. Trying to imagine a world where I would wear a size 1 jeans. That can’t be right, can it? I’m usually a size 4 short in American Eagle jeans.
Before I order though….do you like Judy Blues? Are they worth it? Are there are other ones I should try instead? Especially looking for options for short people, non-distressed (I wear jeans to work sometimes).

I have been seeing ads all over TikTok for this brand but I can't figure out if it is an MLM or if its a site, but I am intrigued.

I have a few pairs of Judy Blue jeans. They have a lot of a give/stretch to them so they are really comfortable. Mine have come from stitch fix and were sent to me in my normal size. At first those were skinny jeans and while they were slightly looser than my skinnies of other brands I wouldn’t have wanted a whole size smaller. I guess it may also depend on how snug you wear your jeans in the first place.
I also have a pair of Judy Blue boyfriend jeans in that same size. I have gained weight (thanks peri menopause). And the boyfriend jeans fit great. The skinnies are pretty tight now (in the same size) so the boyfriend are “bigger” or maybe it’s the the baggier style in general. I have heard about sizing down one size for Judy blue which I could see. Not two - no way. But I’ve also read to consider the fit you want- for instance if you want you boyfriend jeans to be more of a fitted look you’d maybe go down a size but if you wanted them looser maybe your normal size.

They have a style I was interested in but the reviews for the site I looked up made me not want to order. I get mine through stitch fix and I’ve seen some styles on Amazon.

Judy Blues are not a MLM -- they are a boutique brand of jeans, that have a ton of stretch. I own several pairs right now. Here is where I went to figure out my size: hazelblues.com/pages/find-your-perfect-judy-blue-size Edited to add: My non-Judy Blue jeans are about an 8/10 depending on how my weight is fluctuating (or about a 28, 29 in other brands). I can wear a size 7 in Judy Blue.

I get mine from Poshmark and love them. I did give in and order the “star” pattern from the new line (from an ad) and I love them. I did size down one size. They are super comfy. I don’t like the skinny style at all tho

I have a pair I got from Stitch Fix a few years ago. They’re my favorite jeans. I wear an 8 and find them true-to-size.

I got rid of all of my other jeans and just wear Judy Blues now. I’m a 16 bordering on 18 and carry all of my weight in my butt, hips, and thighs and stick with a 16W for comfort. I have a few 14Ws for that “locked and loaded date night fit” but I don’t tend to wear them much. I like being comfy and don’t have date nights anyway 😂.
I feel like the size down recommendations aren’t the same for plus and regular size, so I may not be any help, but I tend to stick with my regular size.

I love Judy Blue jeans as well.
Many online boutiques sell them, but my favorite is Freckled Poppy. They do fit videos and detailed sizing on each pair. There definitely are some of their styles that I size down 1 or 2 sizes from my normal.
Freckled Poppy has a website, but they also have an app that is easy to shop from.

have several pairs of Judy Blues. Most are in my traditional size. The boyfriend fit can definitely be sized down, but I would go down one size, not two. They are the best jeans I have ever worn. They are so comfy I don’t have the desire to change right when I get home!

I was first introduced to Judy Blue jeans through stitch fix. I have since ordered some through online boutiques. They do a good job of explaining the sizing in the description of each pair of jeans.
I’m really short and my only complaint is that they don’t have designated petite/short length sizing. Some of the jeans do come in shorter inseams, though. You just have to really look at the descriptions.

I have several pairs of Judy Blue jeans and I only size down one. I ordered one pair sized down 2 sizes and it didn't work for me, so I returned them.

My favorite stretchy jeans are from Good American. Ignore the fact that Khloe Kardashian is an owner...the jeans are really great!

I see the ads all the time!
I am such a cheap a$$ though, and my jeans just get ripped and beat up from working. So I stick with the Walmart jeans! lol They actually have some nice enough jeans. I get the store brand (Time & Tru or Terra & Skye for plus).
I also like the Sophia Vegara jeans and Levi jeans from Walmart. I usually have to get those online, since my WM doesn't carry a ton of styles. I really like them. I have a couple pairs of Pioneer Woman capri's. One has a lace trim at the hem, and I get tons of compliments on.
