Any 100 year old home, which has been allowed to retain its historic/original features, will always be a hit with me, but something of this size is also always going to be a "nice to visit, but wouldn't want to live there" situation; as is Texas in general, simply because I enjoy a cooler climate.

Wow, that’s quite a set of stairs to get to your front door. It’s pretty, but does still look like a club, not a home.

It's beautiful, but if someone wants to buy it, they will need to do some remodeling based on this in the article:
Now there is a guest house, but unless you want your family in the guest house, they might want to add some bedrooms.
It is beautiful as an event space too - I can definitely see weddings being a big hit there.

It's a beautiful building that looks like it has been pretty well preserved. The staircase leading to the bedrooms is gorgeous.
