i purchased an amazon refurbished Pm-400 last week for $169 and i love it. the photo quality is great. though i don’t care for glossy prints and bought cannon matte 4x6 paper to try.
the discounted price made this an easy choice for our 2nd home. the label said it was refurbished by epson so i feel comfortable with the work. it comes with a 90 day replacement warranty.
has anyone else purchased a refurb from amazon?

I've purchased "renewed" Sony earbuds from Amazon, and they are the best earbuds that I've ever had. I paid $20 for a $40 set. They've been going strong for about 7 years now.

A few peas have posted about buying refurbed items on Amazon and no one ever said they were not happy. I think you’re safe. Congrats!

I created a thread about this, but thought I would post here too......
Today (7/12) Epson has the PM-400 on sale for $199.99 and the refurb on sale for 139.99.
I got a refurb directly from them last fall for $169.99. The first one they sent would not load paper. They quickly sent out a second unit that has worked perfectly and sent me labels to return the first one. I am very pleased with it. It looks brand new.
My refurb was not from Amazon but I have been completely happy with it. Congrats on your new-to-you printer. Enjoy!

I went through 2 Epson PM400 in about 18 months. The first was brand new from Epson, then it stopped working AFTER the 30 day warranty . . . so they sent my a refurbished one. Sadly the second one died just after the year warranty was over . . . . It was nice while it lasted. I hope you have better luck.
I bought it to print while at the cabin and at crops. It was great for at home scraping as well, since the one-day printing at Costco is no longer an option. Then I had to take 2 month break, and when I went to use it it would no longer feed paper.
