Did you see that Victoria is stepping back from her business and is looking to go back to traditional employment? She gave a run down of how things have been happening over the last few years when Covid started and the amount of stress she is under due to working for herself and cost. She will still create but in a more limited fashion and for herself. She seems very relaxed and happy in her video so I am super glad she realized it wasn't healthy and she needed to make changes.
I do really enjoy her videos and tutorials and am glad that she will be back to creating after a break.

I think it’s very difficult to make a living as a Scrapbooker/YouTuber,and I’m so sorry Victoria Marie has been struggling since she is sooo good. I have really enjoyed her videos, but I must admit I haven’t signed up for her classes or joined her Patreon. My fun /retirement money has been going to other places for inspiration. Maybe I should be spreading it around. At any rate, I wish her and her family all the best.

I watched it and I figured she was going to either step back from content creating or quit altogether because something seemed off for awhile. I'm glad she's not fully giving it up because that's what a lot of content creators do when they're burned out, they just fully quit then never come back. I enjoy her videos and also just her and her family. They seem like a solid unit and I love it.

I didn’t see that but I’m also glad she will still be around. I love seeing her happy face on my feed and I would miss her if she were gone completely.

Yes, I watched her YT live and the shorter summary of the same she posted in her IG stories. And also wasn’t surprised. It seemed like she’s been running on empty for a while. I’m glad she decided to make changes before she burned out so badly she started hating scrapbooking.
I found her comment that she got all kinds of exposure as a result of BLM and diversity/inclusion but exposure didn’t translate to actual income. Sigh… I suspect she’s not the only one.

I'm glad she's not stepping away entirely, I really enjoy her 10 layouts from one paper pad/similar style videos, and I find her style in general is inspiring.

Well that’s a bummer. But I’m happy for her to do what works best for her. Being self-employed is stressful.
I have to say that the paid content route is HARD. Everyone wants our money. From all the streaming services out there (non-scrappy example) to Patreon to classes, etc. Even though I want to support all my favorite creators, I just can’t. Even if I had unlimited funds, I don’t have unlimited time to get through it all. I do think there are too many doing the same things.

I just recently, in the last couple years, found Victoria Marie. Her family story is actually what drew me in and I think she is just a strong, creative woman who seems to be a great wife, mom and care-giver. She's really a breath of fresh air on instagram.
I'm glad she's not going away completely but I have to say, the business model seems unsustainable when you are asking people to pay for content they can get for free elsewhere.

I hope she's well. Burnout is a horrible experience and the effects can linger for a long time. I hope she takes it easy on herself. It sounds like she has great support at home.

I just watched her YT announcement. I'm sorry to see her stepping back, but glad she isn't going away. Her voice, talent, and perspective are so needed in this community.

Add me to the chorus. I am a HUGE Victoria Marie fan, both personally & professionally. I have chatted with her privately & she helped me with a situation I was trying to work through in my life. So, so kind. I am so glad she's not giving up her Patreon; I'm going to join in August.

My heart broke when she started crying. She has put her heart and soul into her business. I can't imagine the pressure of it and helping support a family but toning it down to something smaller seems like it will be better her health. I'm really glad she'll still be around.
