Sadly my cat passed about a year and a half ago. Miss her so much! I can relate to this post. She was nosy and had to be in the middle of everything. She felt it was her right, to jump up on the table and plop herself down on top of all my scrapbooking stuff. When I removed her, she would look at me with disbelief and disdain. Then try to jump right back up there. It was a constant battle.

I have “inboxes” on both my work and craft desks, so does my husband. Our cats still like to walk around the desks but will settle into their beds. Then they are eye level with us and I think it makes them feel important, as they should!

ScrapbookMyLife - I'm sorry to hear about your cat. If I shut the door of the office/craft room our cat will scratch and meow at the door until she gets let in. If I take anything out of the Expedit cube storage she jumps in that space and hangs out. I can only get things done when she's either locked in the garage or when we let her roam outside.

If I work in my room in our basement, they also cry at the door making me feel guilty for ignoring them.

I have only had one cat. He was so personable and never met a stranger. Loved sleeping on my scrap desk. I miss that boy!

I have no cat stories, but that is funny!

One of my two is a pen thief. I have to cover up pretty much all writing instruments when I leave the room.

I don't have a cat, but my dog likes to sneak into my scrap room and run off with paper scraps that fall to the floor. She thinks they are a yummy snack. 🙃

I love it! One of our boys like to help by laying on top of our hands when we were doing anything, especially crafting or typing on a keyboard. We buried him over an orange sheet of cardstock, the color of his markings).

kitbop - so funny, so true. I miss my last cat (Buster) so much; he was my "helper". Thanks for starting my morning off with a laugh.

Mine is also a helper, she likes to empty things out of a small dish I have on my desk, and to chew anything paper or plastic. Luckily for her I think she's pretty cute!
