Do you think that kitchen dish soap is not as concentrated as it used to be in the past? I feel as though I have to use more than I used to several years ago. And I use Dove. What do you think?

We only use Dawn, no difference here.

I don't think they are thinning them down, but possibly making them lower suds. I know one time I threw out laundry soap as I thought it was bad as it did not suds up. Looked at the container and it said low suds. Duh. But it did not feel like the clothers were getting clean because I couldn't see the suds, but I'm sure they were.

Whoops. I meant to say that I use DAWN. Not Dove.

I agree with you. I prefer Dawn but in the winter it dries my hands too much so I switch to Palmolive. I think both of them seem a little more watery.

I’ve switched to dish soap bars, which might be an option for you if you’re tired of paying for bottles that seem to be more and more water.

Whoops. I meant to say that I use DAWN. Not Dove. I was surprised that Dove made dish soap. We do use the Dawn in the silver bottle though, maybe the regular is thinner?

I use dawn foam (which I love the smell) and dawn ultra that I buy in massive bottles when on sale and decant into a smaller Dawn bottle. I use Dawn to clean everything. Safe enough for baby ducklings and gets rid of grease. Win, win!

I have noticed it with other brands, which is why I quit buying anything but Dawn. I haven't noticed a change in Dawn, but maybe I just haven't paid attention.

I use only Dawn and purchase the bottle that says concentrate. I have not noticed a change.

I use Dawn too and haven’t noticed a difference. I only buy the original though because I don’t like the smell of the platinum.

I just said this to my husband - that Dawn seems much more watered down than in the past!

I rarely soak anything, but if I do, I just run the water over the soap so it gets in the water. Works great.

That's interesting - I washed dishes with bare hands yesterday (always wear gloves because it makes my hands so rough) and was surprised at how okay my hands felt afterwards (and today). So I will validate that something is different.
