I'm thinking about this one, hard! It does seem to be a great value but a pretty big chunk of my fun budget so I'm on the fence.

I am a huge Pinkfresh fan and somewhat like altenew as well. I find this event extremely expensive in comparison with other PF events. I have done all their events.
I emailed to Pinkfresh customer service today and asked if this event is going to be on Facebook like many of their events and they said that this one is hosted on altenew platform. Looks like this event is led by Altenew. That explains why this event is so expensive.
I would have loved this event but I am not willing to spend so much for 2 class kits (one from for each company). Pinkfresh is so much better than this according to me. They are offering their holiday event with 6 classes (5 full sets + essentials) for $200 and that is so much more sensible according to me.

Yesterday on FB or maybe clicking through an email, I swear I saw this listed for $96 marked down from 120, which seemed like a steal.
But I’m still feeling a little burned out on Altenew, so I didn’t jump on it. I now wonder what it really would’ve “rung up” as.
This morning, seeing the higher price in the link, I checked Altenew’s site in case that was where I saw it yesterday. HAHA! What was I thinking?! They’re selling it at $350.
The two Altenew instructors would be new to me, but I’m not sure that would make enough difference, especially without any kind is sneak peeks. Unless they’re out there and I just missed them?

I signed up yesterday morning before the price correction and got it for $96 plus shipping. Not sure that I would have signed up at the higher price. Actually I know I would not have.

The email I got said “price correction” in red. The class pricing has changed.
I wonder if they are going to ask those who registered at the lower price to pay more?

Unless they’re out there and I just missed them? $350 is crazy price tag. They have given a discount code in their description that you can use while checking out and it will give you $140 price but it is still not the right way to price a product at $350. Many customers may not look inside and that's where this unfair practice of pricing comes into play. I hope Pinkfresh regrets joining hands with altenew on this one. Because I have always seen them going above and beyond when it comes to their events. This price is just unreasonable.

I wish I had signed up under the mistake price, not that I want anyone to lose money.

It looks like you get $140 worth of product...and 6 classes for free a $190 value.
This is what you get
Explore your passion, rediscover techniques, and don’t miss out on specially curated kits! The Altenew kit includes an exclusive stamp, stencil, die, and 3D embossing folder created specifically for this class. Also included are a set of Stamp Conditioning Erasers! The Pinkfresh Studio kit includes an exclusive stamp, stencil, die (all coordinating), foiled phrase sticker sheet, and clear drops.
The Altenew events are just too expensive. And this one doesn't even give you sneak of projects or products.

I found the $96 price in a tab on my browser, but it was $140 in the shopping cart. I have some doubts that anyone would really have been able to check out at that price even yesterday.

I’d love to do something like this but not in my craft budget. Every year I plan on going to the Expo and I never do. This one is closer than last year so I have an incentive.

For some reason, I didn't take time to think about it and ordered right away. So far, they haven't hunted me down for the extra $$. I would have never signed up at the $140 price.

I saw on Facebook that Pinkfresh said that the $96 price was a mistake but that they will honour that price for the people who purchased it before they fixed it. Kicking myself because I happened to see it at the cheaper price but decided to think about it first lol. Oh well, at least I don't have to feel guilty.
I'm passing on it, though - I can't justify another event. I'm going to have to plan my event budget carefully next year, you never what will pop up. It's fun to have to many different virtual events to choose from, something good that came out of the last few years at least.
