I'm seeing pre orders for this, and wonder if it is worth it? I tried to do a search, because I know it has been discussed here before.

Where do you see the preorders? I missed it last year and don’t want to miss it this year.

Googling, I get scrapbooknerd.com, thedoodlebuginc.com, craftfancy.com, and iscrapon.com. No sites I've ever heard of before.

I'll probably wait and use the discount code from C&CD if they allow that again. Here's a photo I found when I googled:

I did this last year, and I'll pass this year. It was cute and fun to open, but I haven't used a single one of the things that were included. Not saying it was bad, but that I just don't think to use the pieces and can't figure out a way to store them that makes sense for how I scrap. When I purged this summer, they all went!
Having said that, I'm a sucker for Advent calendars so I might think about the Crafter's Companion one this year! (I've also ruled out TE - too much non-scrap stuff included).

Well, they have made me mad a couple of times, so I dont shop there often. But no shipping costs? I'm there. I took in a mandala I had cut with with my Silhouette to find background paper to mount it on. Several shoppers complimented me on it, but one of the workers said "Oh, you cheated".

I did this last year and there was only a few things I didn’t like. However, I haven’t used any of them yet! Because of that, I don’t think I will do it again. I did feel though that it was a good value and the items were very nice and useable.

Personally, it was fun to follow along every day to see the items, and of course it would have been fun to have my own to open, but really nothing was a must-have for me. I'm not too fond of spending my money on surprise stuff.

I did it last year and don’t regret it, that said, l have used only a few of the items, and see myself giving a lot away if I don’t start using them by the end of the year. So, while it was a fun pick me up every day, once was enough for me.

I pre=ordered one from Picture This is Eau Claire, WI. I've ordered from them before and had good luck. This is my first Advent Calendar. I had serious FOMO after seeing you all post about last years.

Reading this thread and rewatching a 2022 unboxing video ignited my FOMO. But as I was watching the video, I counted how many things I would actually use (instead of just like) and the number was too small to justify purchasing the calendar. But that doesn't mean I won't change my mind.

Looks like September 10th is the release date. I got it last year and will definitely try to pick it up this year.
They're also releasing a 12 days of stitching dies calendar too. I remember the calendar contents not being too holiday themed, so it could be used year round. I'd like to see some sneak peeks before purchasing though.

I’d be interested in the stitching dies one! Me too, but not if it is holiday themed.

How did you ‘cheat’? I bet the owner of the lss would not have been pleased to hear one of their workers making such a comment. I hope you don’t stop supporting the lss because of one worker.

I think she is a co owner. And I still go there, if I am looking for patterned paper.

I'll pass on the stitching dies, $75 seems a bit steep for dies that only seem to be holiday centered.
I might get the regular advent calendar. I really want that turtle die in the sneak peak.

I got mine! Used the discount from C&CD, which partially paid for some of the shipping. Doesn't scrapbook.com offer free shipping? DANG. $9.99 plus $4 tax.
