I've lost 15 pounds and have 20 to go.
I've been stuck at the same weight for 2 weeks now and it's SO frustrating!
I'm basically doing intermittent fasting and low carb.
Can you tell me what helped you break a plateau in the past?
Thanks so much!

What are you doing for exercise? Maybe make some changes with that since our bodies become efficient when we keep doing the same things and burn less calories. Doing more strength training, adding intervals, etc.

When I was very successful on WW, 2 days before my weigh in day I would eat a larger lunch. Sometimes your body thinks you are starving it, so eating a more will jump start your metabolism. (I used to eat a Wendy's Single on Wednesdays)

two weeks is not a plateau. a true plateau is 6-8 weeks with no change in weight. two weeks is a blip that reminds you to stay the course and see where you are in a 2-4 weeks

Sometimes my body needs a temporary bump in calories, not a binge, but "normal" eating for a couple days. Way to go on your path to better health!

I am at a plateau. No matter what I eat, I stay at 120 lbs and I go up 2 lbs or down but I am good at this plateau.

When I was on a weight-loss journey and hit a plateau, I thought, "So, what am I gonna do? Give up?" - I stayed the course, and eventually it did pay off. Also, remember that the first 20 always comes off more easily than the last 20! ![](http://i1168.photobucket.com/albums/r481/2peasrefugees/Smilies/crazy.jpg.gif)

Make a small change - cut your lunch in half, leave a few bites behind at every meal, or put your fork down between bites to see if you’re still hungry.
But mostly, weight loss is not linear. It’s normal for your weight to fluctuate with water, salt, alcohol, exercise, hormones… give it time.

When I did low carb and intermittant fasting I added in walking every day to lose more weight. The problem though was that I lost a lot of muscle. This time I'm going to do strength training and lower carb, higher protein to get more toned.

Have you tried mixing up your fasting and changing your eating window? Throw in a short window day then a long one.

(I used to eat a Wendy's Single on Wednesdays) Yeah—several times I’ve gotten results when I ate more. Like, 3 cookies or so. Or a small milkshake.
