Each year for six years we have had a small group who send birthday greetings to each other, and usually holiday greetings as well. The most we have had to send have been about 14 cards. I usually try for a group of at least eleven so we can each send ten cards during the year.
Cards do not have to be hand made, but of course those are always welcome. And we don't judge. No matter how intricate or how simple, an extra greeting is always welcome on our birthday.

A birthday card club of the size range you've described sounds delightful to me!
When you say holiday cards, I assume you mean the midwinter holidays, not all the holidays throughout the year? But it almost sounds like that part is voluntary...is that correct? That is a busy and often over-committed time of year, so I feel a little squirrelly about committing to 6 to 14 more cards then.

Yes, Shakti, we commit to the birthday cards, and leave the Christmas season cards up to whoever wants to send them. I will add you to the group PM I sent out to last year's participants, and you can fill in your details there. |
