Good morning! I've had this alphabet die for years and have no idea what brand it is. The enitire die is about 4 by 4 inches. My friend desperately needs it:). Does anyone recognize it? TIA! imgur.com/a/PJqEXWA

I saw one almost like it at our second hand craft store. I have also purchased multiple dies like this (one piece of metal) from there and they are either sizzle brand or maybe Quickutz.

To my (very limited) knowledge, the only (mainstream) manufacturer that includes more than one of each letter in some of its sets is Sizzix. (Of the numerous Quickutz alpha sets that I own, including 4x4 & 4x8, none of them include more than one of the same letter. Therefore, I don't think it's QK.) Consider posting on the Stamping/Cardmaking sub-board ( HERE), where knowledgable & experienced cardmakers with exposure & familiarity with numerous stamp/die companies may recognize it. Hope you find the answer.

Looks very similar to Tim Holtz tiny type. Maybe that would be close enough.

I'm 99% sure that I own this die and it's somewhere packed in a box. I think it's either a quick cuts die or a Scrapyland die. let me look a little more and see if I can find it. ETA: mlcmom , it was a Scrapyland die! It was from their Die-Versions line called "A Hint of Lime". It's a 1/4" font. A Google search shows that it's available from an Italian website and a German website and maybe a Chinese website (I didn't click on that one). There was also a 1/2" version called "A Little Lime". One thing that may be helpful is that a lot of the Die-version line fonts were just standard fonts that were thickened or altered little bit to make them work better as a die cut alphabet. So you may be able to find it on dafont.com or another website like that and cut it with a digital die cutter like a Cameo or a Cricut. I would be happy to cut her some letters if she wants but it will be several months before I get into my studio boxes to unpack them. Plus I'm recovering from my broken wrist and won't be crafting anytime soon.

For clarity, Scrapy Land is a retailer. Die-Versions was an independent manufacturer that is now defunct. Per the packaging, both Die-Versions - A Hint of Lime & Die-Versions A Little Lime were released in 2011. Perhaps she can find one of them pre-owned on ebay, etsy, etc. (or a comparable die set from an existing brand that is more readily available, since it's a basic serif/typewriter font). HTH.

Die-Versions were originally designed for Scrapyland. They were sold exclusively by them for several years. I wasn’t the designer, but was involved with it at the time when I was on their design team. It’s a great font—big enough to work with (but small enough to be quite fiddley) and fits well on cards and banners that were so popular at the time. Scotch repositional tape is your friend here!

I was crafting with my friend today and realized I had forgotten to check this post for a few days! Thank you SO MUCH everyone! I had told her that if anyone would know, it would be the PEas!!! Off to try to find it- hoping I can find it and surprise her!🙏🏻 She was actually showing me a few small albums she's done recently and she was able to label parts with these tiny letters and dates. Wish me luck and thanks again!
