That was very difficult to read. How can humans be so cruel? The statement from the victims is horrific.
I want to know their sentencing. Praying they are sent to a state detention center and not federal.

I could hardly believe what I read last night, I was disgusted and just speechless. I really want to know how this came about, bc it sounds like they are accepting a plea deal, and are accepting guilt. So that's good, but the fact that they just DID this, how, why? humans can be so gross. I hope they get the death penalty. |

Not even one of those “law enforcement officers” deserves to ever walk the earth as a free man again. They should all be sentenced to life in prison without parole. They aren’t sorry for what they did. They are sorry they got caught. I wonder how many times they have done that previously. My heart breaks for the torture and suffering Mr. Jenkins and Mr. Parker endured. They need to be financially compensated.

The problem with this is, that isn’t the extent of the problem.
The issue HAS to go deeper or further up the command chain for these people to feel so safe doing this that they already had a name for it ‘are ya’ll available for a mission’ says they’ve done this before without repercussions. Often enough they had a code name for it.
So these 5 pleading guilty is not the end of the problem. It has to go further up the line than that.

I couldn’t even finish reading the article. What these men did was not human. I am not a violent person, but I actually hope that when these men are put in prison, a few black prisoners torture them so they can experience the fear and degradation they visited on those two innocent men, just because of their skin color. I am filled with disgust. And the fact that they were policemen, sworn to protect society makes it even worse for me.

Yes what they did is horrific and they should be punished to the full extent of the law - BUT heads need to absolutely roll up the command chain as there is no way in hell it wasn't known and condoned what they were doing. |
