Heba from My Little Journal has some faux-leather disc binders that she created in her Etsy shop. As far as I know, this is a product that nobody has thought of before and I hope, if that's the case, that she copyrights it. I have a bunch of TN's from Studio Calico that are just beautiful, but I've never used. One of the reasons is I don't have stories that will fit into those limited pages (but I love them, therefore I hoard them ). I really like the idea of a disc-bound notebook rather than a ring binder and I already have the disc punch left over from my Happy Planner days. Video where she introduces the three sizesVideo where she uses oneLink to her Etsy shop
Thoughts?

I like the idea of it but I personally don't want to add another album into my collection until I use up the ones I already have. 😂

I love this product but for me they cost $50 each and $30 shipping EACH COVER for a total of $80 per cover so I have to pass. Being an international pea sucks sometimes as I can’t support smaller businesses with awesome original ideas. Hopefully she’ll partner with sc so I can order some in the future.

OMG I haaaaaaaaate the disc bound TNs! The big bulky discs are not something I ever like, but those coupled with the narrow TN dimensions looks so off kilter to me.
Copyrights are for written content, not products. I think it would fall under patents, but since her product relies on supplies that she had no hand in creating (discs, pinches), I am not sure that’s applicable. I’d hate to see another stinky flower grow out of this idea.

That’s crazy, period. But especially since she used to use CT Life Crafted albums and her reason for stopping it was they were too expensive.

I haven’t seen the covers like this before, but Levenger has had the disc notebooks/planners that can be customized for quite a while now. It’s their Circa Collection if anyone is interested and wants more options.

She did a nice job with those. I don’t have a need for one, but they’re nice.

I am like you with the TNs. I love them, but don't always use the ones I have often enough. But I am thinking I could do that with the Citrus Twist albums I already have. Except for a planner, I don't really care for disc binders either.

It would be nice if she partnered with SC and you could get a break on shipping! But question: They're $30 each in her Etsy shop...are they that much more for international sales? Ugh!!

I must have learned that at some point in my life, but I've obviously never had a need for either.

The Aussie dollar SUCKS at the moment so when I say $50 that’s what it shows me in aud. Even at that price I might be tempted if it wasn’t for the $30 aud postage each cover as well. That’s just stoopid.

It’s $30 US for the planner & $6.36 for shipping to NJ so not horrible.
I like the cover but it’s not the right sizes for me. Only my memory planners are disc bound. If she sold the plastic hinges separately I’d be interested though.

If she sold the plastic hinges separately I’d be interested though. I mentioned that to her via instagram and she said she wasn't sure. Maybe message her via instagram or youtube to show there's interest.

If she sold the plastic hinges separately I’d be interested though. Do you mean the binding discs? They sell some on Amazon, or even Joann sells them for the Happy planner. ETA: I went back to the video. I see what hinges you are talking about now.
