Does anyone get her kits? I just had to order the "Breath of Sunshine" kit that went live yesterday. I love leaves, pumpkins, sunflowers... and this kit checked all the boxes! I did notice there are several videos up already using the kit. I don't think this is a subscription, you just buy it if you like it. This is the first one that has really looked interesting to me! For $59.95 I thought it was reasonable priced for what you get - 2 6x8 stamp sets, dies to go with the stamps, a 6x6 stencil, and a free gift, the autumn leaves die set. Looking forward to playing with it when it arrives!

Socker as I am for kits, I've never gotten one of hers. I did fall in love with one about a year ago, but I learned about in from a JMcG video -- and so did the rest of the world, so it was sold out by the time I got there. So, thanks for the warning that videos are up!
This one does look nice, but I find myself not really engaging with autumn cards. Kind of funny, since it's my favorite season.

I’ve gotten a couple of her kits but overall they feel like a mishmash of products that don’t always go together.
Most of her kits are sold as a kit for a month or so but when the next new release happens, the previous kit is broken apart and the items are sold separately. So it’s not that once it’s sold out it’s gone.

That's good to know pinklady . For this kit, though, I did want it all! Fall is my favorite season!

I've never bought her kits but did get tempted by one of the sentiment stamp sets in one last year. I was told that it would "probably" be sold separately as a shop item but it didn't sound like that was guaranteed. By the time it finally came into the shop I decided I was over it. lol. I'm a sucker for sunflowers and fall leaves but this one didn't have any of my specific triggers, thankfully. (I do not need more sunflowers! I should use the ones I have more.) I usually see Mindy Eggen and Jennifer McGuire sharing the kits but none of them have really spoken to me so far. If you like the items it does seem like pretty good value and I def prefer not to have to subscribe. Looking forward to seeing what you make with it

I do not need more sunflowers either, but I’m finding the leaves and pumpkins are growing on me, dammit. And even I don’t want all of it, $60 is a good price for what I do like.
But I have enough sunflowers and don’t make fall cards. The leaves dies will probably be available separately later.

I had no idea she had kits. I’ll keep that in mind. The current one is nice but there’s not much I’d use.

I'm not doing the fall card exchange, I don't think I'll have time. Between the three events I signed up for, and also doing an October Daily, and working... (work keeps getting in the way! LOL), I think my fall is pretty much booked up. I do want to do the holiday exchange!

I signed up for the fall swap and pulled out all my mostly unused fall stuff and am still having difficulty staying away from that kit.I was definitely buying things when I was just getting back into crafting and sometimes even before I was able to use them -- dies before I had my machine mostly. Some I wouldn't buy now if I had it to do over, I think. And I can articulate exactly why I think some of the things in that kit will work better for me than the things that are already here.
But Gina's saving me from myself -- her site is down for maintenance!

Also means no one else can be buying it. And gives me the long weekend to wrestle with my demons.

You know you want it! Yes, I do. At this point in time I can clearly articulate what was wrong with some of my past purchases and I totally understand why as a more or less new hobbyist I made those poor decisions, I still feel bad about the waste. I really wish I could be more successful about selling off some of my poor choices, although dh says that the notion of "sunk costs" doesn't really matter for anything. It would matter for assuaging my pangs of guilt or self-criticism or something. Those are the demons, I guess.

If you have stamp sets to sell, I would price them at rock bottom prices just to get rid of them. No guilt! I really need to go through all my stamp sets and weed out the ones I'll never use (including some C&CD sets). I just need to find the TIME to do it. I've been WFH for the past three years, and have to go back to the office three days a week starting next week. Not really looking forward to it. Love working from home in my comfy clothes!

I've been on that two/three hybrid schedule for most of about two years (minus the omicron surge). I love it. I think offices have gotten even more casual since the pandemic, so my office work clothes are only a little less comfy than my W@H clothes. And I think I make better use of the extra home time when it's a limited resource.
What's "rock bottom"? 50% of their value? 25%? Pennies on the dollar?

Thanks for the insight on returning to the office. I am hoping for the best, but fighting traffic and paying for parking are already making me grumpy.
I would consider rock bottom to be what I'd want to pay if I was searching for bargains. I would start at 40-50% of what I paid and go down from there. Everything is so expensive nowadays, it's very hard to price things. I would not price them on what the manufacturer is offering it for now (although I might point that out), I would base it on what I paid. If I just wanted to get rid of it, get it out of my house, I'd go as low even lower. They would pay shipping of course.
You could even RAK them here - the Peas love to jump on those! I need to go through some of my older stuff and set up some RAKs.

I have one I'm thinking of doing that with -- almost parted with it yesterday, but if I DON'T break down and get the Gina K kit, I will probably use part of it this fall.

At 4 or 4:30 or something, it finally popped back up. I quickly tried to talk myself out of it and failed. I knew I needed to leave the office and wasn't sure it would be there by the time I got home.
Maybe the whole web site, front and back ends, was down for maintenance? That would explain the lack of movement of your order placed just before the outage.
