Ok. I ordered from Office Supply dot com. Hopefully I’ll have good luck with them as several of you have. They have an extra -$4.50 coupon so it was under $60. I am super skeptical about the site after reading online reviews but willing to give them a shot. Delivery is supposed to be on the 10th. In the meanwhile I’m holding my breath and crossing everything 😁 Wishing you luck, let us know how it goes. I have the full size Minc and I'm thinking of selling it and buying the Mini. I got it when the Minc was first released, and used it a ton, but I moved my scrap room and now the Minc is on a shelf and I have no surface large enough to put it on, so I have to go out to the kitchen with it to foil. I know, what problems I have. My point is - the mini would work so much better in terms of convenience and just putting it on my scrap desk and foiling away. One year I invested in an inexpensive black and white laser printer - I think it was about $80 at Staples (the toner is expensive though, like $150 or something, but it does last forever), and I'm so glad I did. I printed off about 40 invitations for an engagement party for my niece, and foiled all of the wording. It was so beautiful. Then the party got cancelled due to covid but that's a whole other story, haha. I also have a colour laser printer that I've had for 15 years, and it does not foil well, you definitely need a B&W laser printer. I read up on it and I forget exactly why, but the colour just doesn't work as well even though I printed it in black - I guess it's not a true black or something. Oh - and I've also foiled on acetate and it turned out beautifully - printed on the cheap B&W laser printer. I used an Ali Edwards December Daily digital design, one of her divider pages I think it was, and wow, the results were stunning. |

marg thank so much for your printer tips, super helpful! ❤️ No problem, there was a bit of a learning curve with the printers. One thing I love to do for cards is print out the recipient's name is a pretty font and foil it. It's a nice touch on the card and depending on the font and foil can look very elegant. |

MichyM, how did this work out? Every once in a while, I do worry that we steered you wrong and you're having a bad time with OfficeSupply.com. I'm about to place another order there, but I realize I've never bought anything like a Minc.
