Enable me? Talk me down? Anybody? It sounds to like you’ll be pretty disappointed if they sell out and/or if you miss out on free shipping for them. Yes? No one is going to go hungry/you won’t be late paying a bill if you buy them. Correct? If so, there’s your answer and a little nudge. 😉

Enable me? Talk me down? Anybody? Well I can’t talk you down because the stamp set is sitting in my cart too so I guess I’m enabling you. I was kind of hoping it would sell out and solve my dilemma for me. If it’s still available tomorrow I’ll pull the plug and order, if not I won’t be losing any sleep over it.

That's exactly what I said to myself yesterday! And done! Thank you. Now I hope you all get your wishes and any other big florals have coloring stencils...so I won't want them.

It’s Paper Rose rainbow twirl. Unfortunately it’s out of stock. link From the kit description - 6 unique double-sided 6x6 inch patterned paper sheets from the Paper Rose Rainbow Twirl collection link to the sold out 6x6 paper pad Oopps posted at the same time as lindas Also sold out at SB.C. I don't really like their kits, but I often like a product or two. Love the big, bold sentiment in the stamp set, but not the party hats its part of. Thank you, thank you, thank you. I'll keep an eye out for it. It's not a must-have but it did catch my eye. I liked a couple of elements of the kit but I'm learning to count how many of the stamps I would actually use more than once and nah, it's not worth the space for me. Most often the element I like is the patterned paper, which is ideal. I would rather get the whole paper pack anyway and it's a lot cheaper. As of when this is posted, it’s in stock at SSS joblackford, and somehow a package ended up jumping into my cart. Seems to be plenty more as there’s no “low stock” notification on it. Ask me how I know.

Pretty paper! I might order extra, too. I wonder if it has a glossy finish like the other Paper Rose papers I have. I hope not.

Mama Elephant tonight, am I the only one that had to google capybara? I just imagine sending cards with those sentiments and the recipient going WTH??? I had to go over and look. Wow, I am scratching my head over that set too. Both the choice of what animal to use, and the awful sentiments. That’s a big old swing and a miss for me.

I knew what they were (rodents of unusual size!), but, um…WHY?!
Even Jennifer McGuire couldn’t muster any capybara love.
I am trying to picture that creative team meeting.

I thought it was an odd choice too. Especially since Mama Elephant is releasing another capybara Christmas set on their own site.
And the set on the ME site is less expensive.

I have a co-worker whose son loves capybaras, and she is into them as well, by osmosis. I showed her the set and she made a face and said "those aren't capybaras - those are guinea pigs".
I think someone is trying to make fetch happen. Like when everyone and their uncle were selling sets with sloths.

I thought they were guinea pigs too till I put my glasses on and could read the sentiments.

The shipping label's already been created for my magnolias. So they're not falling behind yet. Which doesn't surprise any of us here, right?

OMG the capybara set is terrible! I agree, they look like random brown lumps - wombats? guinea pigs? who knows? I agree that the sentiments are awful, and I'm pretty forgiving of bad puns. And this BS: "This super sweet and on trend 4x6 inch (12 piece) clear stamp set has brought the trend of real-life capybaras to life and ready for the holidays!" The trend of real life capybaras? what?! I did recently see/meet a capybara IRL for the first time. He was some kind of mascot for a movie production company, doing promotional work/eating grapes in the lobby of the movie theater during a film festival. I was surprised, I had no idea they were so big, but he was quite appealing - he snuffled my hand! Very soft snuffles. Capybara at the movies! by jo.blackford, on Flickr

I'd kind of be afraid of it because I know nothing about it. I would think it might bite me with sharp tiny teeth. Thanks for sharing that photo. I probably would not have googled it.

It looks like a couple things dropped and partially sold out before I noticed. Riley & Co and Avery Elle. The latter I’m a little sorry I missed.

The Avery Elle set was cute but not something I would’ve used much. The other set wasn’t my style.
Wallet is still safe!

Last year I didn’t buy anything because I didn’t want to pay shipping charges several different times. This year there’s free shipping and so far there hasn’t been anything that screams “buy me”. Even the magnolias, which I really like, are still sitting in my cart.
Stamptember is really unfair to us east coast girls. I’m getting too old to wait up until midnight just to see a stamp set. Wish they’d do the drops at 9pm EST.
