I’m not even going to pretend that I can resist. Last year was fun, and so many of the sets I purchased I used right away on my holiday cards. This year I plan to pay attention to certain brands that I ignored in the past but then ended up sad when I missed out on their offerings. I also had a blast watching intro videos at midnight for my faves so I’ll be doing that again.
Anyone else thinking of/ planning their Stamptember?

Stamptember already?! Where has the year gone?!  I will be hiding/ignoring/pretending I don't see again this year  My stamp storage area is full! I tend to assume that if it's meant for me it will be available a few days later when I finally take a look. I don't make great decisions under pressure. |

I will look every early morning when I have my “me” time with my cup of coffee. I have a love-hate with SSS. More hate than love, but I can’t seem to make the break, though I try really hard to buy elsewhere. I’ve been frozen most of the year, but I will be looking. If there’s something I can’t live without, I’ll likely order. But being frozen has been great for me. It’s taken away much of my impulse buying and I will have to REALLY want (“need”) it!

I’ll be checking the intro videos but I doubt I’ll buy anything. I feel that a lot of these sets are way overpriced simply because they are limited and I don’t want to get sucked into buying something because of that. If, and that’s a big if, I do buy I have to absolutely love it and know that I’m going to make enough cards with it to justify the price.

I'll check if I remember, but I already have more stamps than I need. It needs to be an absolutely over the top must-have if I buy anything.
ETA: And I will add that I have always hated the FOMO they create by only having a limited amount when they know they can sell more if more were available for at least the next day.

I was just trying to remember any of the sets I "missed out on" in previous years... and I can't. I can remember a set I bought and gave away because it wasn't really my style, and another set I got that isn't as good quality as the very similar set that I got from C&9th a few months later (I liked the one I wasn't fomo-ed into buying better but they work together so I'm happy to have both). I don't think I've been tempted the last couple of years. I'm with amyl - kind of a love-hate relationship. Prairie Paper and Ink keeps tempting me with her SSS videos! |

I'm hyped for Stamptember although I probably won't buy anything. I just love the excitement and inspiration, and l love reading all of the blog posts and seeing the new stuff with my morning coffee.
That echineacea card is beautiful.

SSS didn't give exact dates but they did put up a page with the collaborations. If it's anything like last year (and I think the year before) the brands are chronological Oh good! I couldn’t find that page on their redesigned site. It’s nice to have a heads-up for when favorite brands are coming up. Even if you’re a Stamptember grinch like me who isn’t planning on shopping!  |

I was doing OK until I noticed our echinacea in bloom. Now that embossing folder and die set are in my shopping cart.
Free shipping over $25 with code FRSHP “for a limited time”. Doesn’t say when it ends. Also doesn’t specify “one-time use only”.

I’m happy they did Lawn Fawn first, so I don’t have to wait it out. I am passing on the set. I don’t care for it when the critters are specifically for Christmas. I’d prefer to add a Santa hat myself so that the images are more useful. I also passed on the wolves from their main release (so far).
I did place an order with the freeship code though.

I'm the exact same way. I have seen plenty and I just don't like them at all.
The wolf set is so adorable. I'm planning to lift this version by Christy Gets Crafty. She uses a blue/gray color story that looks so pretty.
As far as actual stamptember items so far I've been good and my wallet has been safe. I like the SSS artistic pumpkin set but it sold out while I was waiting to place an order. I'm glad it's going to be restocked.

When I saw the thumbnail I did too!!! I thought they were holiday wolves similar and useable with last year's set. Once I realized they weren't I passed.
