The price point was excellent for the full set and the images could be used in so many ways and with so many other sets, but I’m not all that fond of the sentiments. Not that I could’ve or would’ve stayed up ‘til midnight to get it.
Consoled myself for missing out with a mini-spree at ACOT's free shipping day!

I feel like all of my favorite companies have had their reveal, and there wasn't anything I had to have.
I'm in the minority though because I think the capybaras are so cute! I don't buy holiday specific items, though so I passed on them. My daughter has been loving capybaras for a couple of years now so I'll have to show her that set!

I deliberated on the Spellbinders 12 Days of Stitchmas and finally caved. I won’t be ordering any more Stamptember since I got that. I won’t have to sit up until midnight now.

I like the PF, but I am not disappointed I missed out. Isn't Simon Says midnight 9pm on the west coast? I feel like I checked yesterday and there was nothing but the cupcakes at the top. Maybe it sold out in less than 30 minutes and that is why I did not notice it.

Did they drop two last night? Waffle Fower and Trinity both look unfamiliar. Can’t believe how quickly everything gnome sells out! Kind of like the snowflakes and big bold sentiment. Probably don’t need it, of course. When I checked around 12:30 I only saw Waffle Flower, didn’t see Trinity until this morning. The gnomes were another set I would have bought if I had caught it in time, I have enough snowflakes so no interest in that set. Nine days left and 12 sets, I expect we’ll see at least 2 more double drops. |

I have 3 or 4 little snowflakes, wood mounted, and some snowflake dies, plus the single large snowflake from the Pinkfresh event coming up this weekend. I'm not sure if that's enough. Oh, wait, I might have a big snowflake background stamp as well. If so, that probably tips me over the edge to "enough snowflakes."
CZ had two FB posts last night around midnight announcing both Trinity and WF exclusives.

I haven't bought anything yet, nothing has really made me want to pull the trigger. There were some cute things for sure, just not enough to make me want to fill a cart up to justify shipping to Canada (even with discounted shipping). I am really enjoying watching the drops every day, though. I do like the new birthday stamp from Simon itself, the one in the kit - they usually do a 20% off sale for Simon branded products at the end of Stamptember, don't they? Or is this wishful thinking? But then they'll get rid of free/discounted shipping for that, I'd imagine. Hmmmm, what to do...

I had an appointment and they were gone when I returned. Noticed that there are three snowflakes in the Altenew kit I've barely opened, too, so, yeah, plenty of snowflakes.

Last year the TH IG Live for his Stamptember was on a weekday and not associated with his Saturday ones. I think it was announced a day or two ahead of time. So far, no big announcement. All that has been said about his previously scheduled lives for this weekend are that tomorrow is his fabric line, and Saturday is normal Christmas Stampers Anonymous. Zoe Hillman said on Tim Holtz Addicts to watch for announcements on the Addicts FB group or on TH IG account. I'm am thinking last year there was a huge huge amount of his stamps available and it did not sell out for a couple of days. That was on the old SSS system, when you could type in some random high quantity and it would tell you how many were in stock. I don't think you can do that now. |

I've bought a few of their cards kits and I do agree, they throw some random stuff in there. I think it's old, excess inventory they throw in to bulk up the kit. I also find it strange you only get 1 or 2 envelopes. I do really like the birthday stamp in the kit they released a week or so ago, it comes with the usual random items which are just okay, although the paper is pretty. I'm still thinking about that one. |
