Happy Thursday peas! I hope you are enjoying the first week of sketches thus far. Thursday sketches during Sketchtember will focus on color - first up is a focus on monochromatic. Monochromatic means containing or using only one color. You can choose whichever color you want to your monochromatic focus to be on and feel free to include neutrals in your creation. For the sketch, I've done a deep dive into the Creating Keepsakes archives and found this one from the bonus sketch insert in the Sept/Oct 2012 issue. The zoomed in sample is a little fuzzy, so I've also included the link to the sketch on Pinterest if you prefer. 
I've focused on the color blue for my layout (although it looks a bit gray thanks to the overcast weather for today!). I've also rotated the sketch to better fit with my selected photos.  4th Quarter Team Points: If you are on team, collect FIVE (5) points for creating something based on the sketch. ONE (1) point for using the twist on ANY project. Bonus of TWO (2) points for both the sketch and twist on one project (so total of 8 points for that). Bonus of 500 points for completing ALL of the sketches by October 7th. Plus, you get to add a checkmark to your monthly collection each time you meet a SKETCHtember challenge, to include in your monthly bonus points. grammadee |

Ryann , thank you for the sketch and thank you for hosting Sketchtember. Your layout from the sketch is so cute. I love the monochromatic blues and the photos are adorable. Love the various designs on your tags. Such cute and dainty clusters. Lovely page. Linda , delightful photos of your little Annabelle. I love your tags, especially love the starburst one. The little triangles at the top are a great balance element. Beautiful job with this sketch! Chinagirl828 , what great photos on your pages. I will take a closer look in the gallery and leave some love. These photos were so orange because the sun was setting and the stage was surrounded by windows. I went with monochromatic orange brown, not my usual bright scrapping colors, but it matched the photos.  Cowboy Poetry Gathering
