Happy weekend everyone! Today's sketch is created from a layout I found online by Dorothy Guinan (thanks for putting me onto her dewryce !). Here is the link to Dorothy's page: Pasta's PawsHere is the sketch:
And this is my layout:
If you are a member of a challenge team, there are points to be earned. Create something with this sketch for FIVE points. Add the twist (Tic Tac Toe) on any project for ONE point. Add the twist on your take of this sketch for a bonus of TWO points. So, total points up for grabs...5+1+2=8. The twist for today is Tic Tac Toe. I have chosen nine random challenges from the Q4 challenge list, which hopefully will help people cover off a few extra challenges. Simply include any three items in a row on your page from this grid:

AussieMeg - I love your sample with all the colours - so pretty! Not sure mine ended up looking much like the sketch by the time I shrunk it and simplified it and mirrored but...I tried. No bonus on this one (I almost never manage your tic tac toe bonuses)

Gorgeous Linda ! I love the colours you have used, so pretty! And I had to laugh at the quote - too funny! Annabelle must have been a right little monkey.

Here is my page for this. The sketch is just a suggestion, right, AussieMeg? I added the circles to tie in with its facing page for sketch #10. TWIST: used the middle horizontal row: Summer, Splatter, and Plaid. surprise find 2 by Gramma Dee, on Flickr

Thank you for the sketch AussieMeg and thank you for being a hostess this month. Your page is beautiful. I especially love your photos of a fun lunch plus the perfect photo of the meal! I caught it in the gallery and left love. Linda , I burst out laughing when I saw your layout. That photo is priceless. I read that one of your kids may have taken the photo. I can't imagine having a camera ready at the exact perfect moment. LOL. I am still laughing. What a little darling. This is a fabulous use of the sketch. And thanks, it helped me with mine. grammadee , my mouth is watering looking at that rhubarb. It really makes the saliva run! I left you love in the gallery. Great job on your design from the sketch. I love all the bright colors for summer. Chinagirl828 , I think this layout is one of my all time favorites of yours. I love what you have done with the die cut. Will you tell us how you did that? Is it backed with vellum? I left love (and questions) in the gallery. This is my take on the sketch. I used buttons and bows, summer memories, and journaling 100 words for the twist. I followed Linda and just went with one photo for my smaller canvas. Missing You Already(edit)

Chinagirl828 , I think this layout is one of my all time favorites of yours. I love what you have done with the die cut. Will you tell us how you did that? Is it backed with vellum? I left love (and questions) in the gallery. I saw your comment in the gallery before I saw it here, so I'll answer in both places in case others also want to know. I backed the cut file with vellum that is printed with small white hearts. I tried to line the hearts up so they could be seen around the veins on the leaves.

Linda I love how you flipped the sketch to work with your photo and that quote card seems so apt for this photo!
