What are you using/loving for full size ink pad storage? I started out with cubes only but have been migrating to fuller size pads (have most of Pink Fresh and Simon Says Stamp PSI).
I have cubies in my Kallax I could dedicate to ink pad holders or a spot on my desk where I could stack some or wall mount them. Any preferences for stacked or wall mounted?

I am extremely lucky…my dad and I built three 60 pad storage units like these and I have the pieces to make three more. Now, I’m not saying it was any cheaper but it was fun to do with my dad. www.stampnstorage.com/ink-pad-holder/

Those organizers that put each pad its own little cubby have always looked so space-inefficient to me. I just can't bear the thought of one. I am currently storing my full-size pads in a desk organizer on its side, so it becomes a little shelf unit. 2 to 4 pads in a stack fit in the height of the little shelves, three or so stacks on each. I am outgrowing it. And kind of resenting that, because most of my full-sized pads came in kits or bags of one sort or another. That was fine until I started deliberately collecting one brand of pads...now worlds are colliding and I'm looking for new solutions. One of which might be simply using up the pads that happened into my life as quickly as I am able....
Babbling. Sorry. What was the question?

I have several of the stamp-n-storage ink pad holders. I have 2 old SU ones, the Tim Holtz one, and one for ink pads like PF and The Stamp Market and SSS. They're great, I like being able to pull out a pad, use it, put it back, pull out another - without having to stack and restack my pads like when they were just piled on top of each other.
Mine aren't wall-mounted - I like to rearrange my room from time to time. I also changed rooms lately so I'm really glad I could just pick them up and move them. I have my SU ones stacked one on top of the other on an Alex unit and they're perfectly stable, I have no concerns about the top one falling off.
They weren't cheap but they were really worth it for me.
Organize More also sells some, Jennifer McGuire uses those, I believe.

If I had IKEA furniture, I would be saving my pennies for a Stamp and Storage Ink Pad Carousel. I think they are such a great use of space! There are some YouTube videos of people putting them together which will give you a really good idea of how they are made and function… and how to assemble if you buy one too!
I use a combination of Spectrum Noir Universal Ink pad storage (purchased from Amazon) and the rest are in drawers. It’s not ideal but it works. The Spectrum Noir storage is plastic and basically held together by some interlocking slits and gravity, but I don’t move my storage around and I have been very happy with them.

Organizemore.com also has ink pad holders. I believe sized for Kallax and wall/table size. Personally I prefer not to make holes in my walls. Mine is an old stamp pad holder that purchased years and years ago for SU size stamp pads. The OM ones are smaller for SS sized ink pads. They come in white only.

Thank you for the Organize More reminder, I was forgetting about them.
I saw that, but I don't like the little open bits on the one that would fit my ink pads. I love how the one for the SU inks looks though!

In addition to the storage options listed upthread, SB.com offers 12-ink pad storage towers in clear or white (ETA: see HERE). HTH, & you find the ideal solution.

I store mine, by brand, stacked in Artbin super satchels ( I buy them when Joann has a good sale, for around $10). Regular pads I can fit 3 stacks wide, distress I can fit 4. So the entire set of distress pads fits in one case with a little extra room. My pinkfresh fit now, but once they release the new colors they won't and I'll need to store the extras in the case with my gina k pads that also overflow a single case.
This works for me because it's easy to grab a whole case and take it to whatever room I'm working in at the time. I also cut poster board dividers to go between the stacks and keep everything upright.

I store my Distress Oxides in Iris bins similar to the Art Bins linked above. I have been storing my Pink Fresh inks in a drawer. I’m looking to get out of having them stacked on top of each other.
I’ve been keeping my SSS inks on a rotating bamboo vanity thing I bought on Amazon. I like it, but when I need to move it all my inks slide off. It’s great if I don’t move it.

I had been looking at rotating things on Amazon and being bothered by cheap plastic. I will look for bamboo!

Shakti - this is the one that I have. I can get 50 ink pads on one. They are still stacked on each other and I have to be careful if I slide it across my desk, I've had ink pads slip off and the lids fall off and then I have a mess to clean up. They stay on just fine if I spin it. It does fit into a Kallax cube. But, there is a lot of space on the sides and it's looks a little odd with so much empty space around it.

I love that -- just the sort of thing I've been picturing. Though currently I don't stack anything more than 3 or 4 high, so that's something to think about.

I have a variety of ink pads and small storage units for many, but the majority of mine, at this time, are stampin’ up and they fit in/I use a Napa valley wall cassette holder that I love. I just have it sitting on my desk/table area up against the wall but not attached. It is narrow, I have the majority of my pads in front of me and each one has a separate section and don’t have to move them around to pull one out.
