Is this easy to do? I tried to google it, but couldn't figure out the instructions.

Easy! Click on the three lines in the upper right corner, select settings and privacy, scroll to the bottom and you should see add new account. If you don’t want the accounts connected, then log out and set up the new account with a different email address. Otherwise, if the accounts are connected, you can easily switch between accounts without signing in/out.

Anyone have tips on how to get back into an account. I had both connected at one point and then some how got logged out of my extra one and now I don't know how to get back in.

How do I delete a second account? To do it, go to the profile you want to delete. Click on the the lines in the upper right corner and select settings and privacy. Scroll all the way to the bottom and select login info. Your linked accounts should show up there. Deselect the account you want to remove. Ok … I don’t know what happens after that because I have never wanted to delete an account. I hope that does what you want it to do. |

If they are not connected, you can only be logged into one account at a time. Interesting! On my phone I'm currently logged into both my personal account, and the account I manage for work. Does that mean they are connected? The accounts use different usernames and email addresses and I don't see the other account listed under settings and privacy. But I can switch back and forth between them just by double tapping the profile icon (or long pressing and selecting the other acct) - no need to log in or out. Can't remember how I set that up though... I was simultaneously signed into both my personal and work Facebook accounts on my old phone too. Although that was set up almost like it was two different apps, with two different icons in the app drawer. I just got a new phone and need to figure out if that is still possible... (I know you're not actually supposed to have multiple FB profiles... but I really do NOT want to manage my work facebook under my personal profile.) |

jennifercw You can have accounts that are connected and you can add accounts if you have the password. I have two accounts that are connected. I have another one that is not, so I must have used a different email address for that one and then I later added it. I also have one more account that is sort of shared between a group of us that I did not setup, but I was given the password and I was able to “add” it. So even though all four are not connected, I can still easily flip between them.

I've been having the same issue for a week+, even though I know I'm entering correct log in information. ETA: I just tried resetting the password. They sent a link to my associated email account and after I proved I'm not a robot and hit Continue, I got the following alert: This link is invalid. ugh |

Thank you. When I go to the bottom my only choice is log out of all accounts. I'm afraid to do that. I don't want to lose my main account.

Yeah, creating a second Instagram account is pretty simple. You just hit the three lines in the corner, go to settings, and scroll to 'Add Account.' If you don’t want them connected, log out first and use a different email for the new one. If you’re looking to manage and promote multiple accounts without the hassle, maybe check out a social media agency to help handle that. |
