I'm at my desk at work but I'll be trying to catch a peek at it when I get a chance. I'll for sure catch it on replay, though.

I have things going on today/tomorrow so will watch on replay over the next week. I am looking forward to this one more than the previous two, based on the instructors and the kit contents (I did not buy).

I watched Kristie Marcotte's "homework" video, which was how to cut the papers for the card she was going to share, and concluded that I didn't really need to bother with this one. All it's going to do is convince me spend money (which I'm probably going to anyway - they keep showing me the most adorable fall fox dies). I'm busy watching the Get Organized HQ summit videos this week, and Justine Hovey launched her next "summit" about 5 minutes after her session at GOHQ finished... Hope those watching have fun with it though!

I’m watching it on replay. I also watched the Scrapbook and Cards Today fall issue reveal.

I watched a bit, but none of it is really my style. I'll probably take a peek tomorrow too and see what there is.

I forgot that this was the one where they posted one big long livestream. I jumped around and watched a little bit of Simon's and Kristie's sessions, and laughed at Justin's comment that as a beginner he thought that 2 stamps and an ink pad would allow him to make birthday cards for the rest of his life Now I want to buy that fox die, the fall paper pad, and all the solar and lunar pastes, even though I'm not a paste user.

I signed up last year and watched live. But some of the styles didn’t interest me so I waited until I could forward through. This year I’ll start watching Sunday so again I can just watch the ones that interest me.

If using the discout code counts as participating, then YES!
Last month I almost bought the Vicki Boutin kit to play along, but then decided there was other stuff I wanted more I will stick check out her video.

The stack and sort trays are back in stock! Getting 4 doesn’t lower the shipping cost compared getting the set of 6, so I’m leaning toward the bigger set. Just not complete sure.

Simon is really relatable. I watched his class and a bit of a couple of others. I like the fox die AND those paper pads, but that presenter's voice was not easy to listen to. Hope to catch VB or replay later.
If using the discout code counts as participating, then YES! So far I managed not to click on the SHOP option... Managed to pay off a bunch of bills last month and--after spending way too many hours--extracted a refund for a big overpayment for utilities, so after having been careful with new purchases for a few weeks, now my fingers are itching to reward myself with crafty goodies, so everything looks good...
Didn't see any new techniques, mostly product demo's. SBCfest is really one big infomercial for SB.com, and when i get irritated I need to remind myself that the event is FREE.

I started to watch Simon, but didn't get past the very long paste ad. I like the fox die AND those paper pads, but that presenter's voice was not easy to listen to. That was Kristie, I guess. I have issues with bad voices. I like her kit, but I think I'd be better off passing....

Yes, grammadee Kristie never even used to do voiceovers, just music and subtitles, and almost never shows her face on camera. She has a very strong accent (N Dakota, I believe) and follows her script very closely. She's gotten a LOT better since she started doing the vocieovers, if you can believe that. I'm used to her, and I like her videos much more since she started doing the voiceover - I don't like music-only videos - but if I she wasn't so in-line with how I craft I might not be able to listen to her. I skipped Simon's paste ad and jumped to the finished cards. Jumping around is harder because it's such a long stream, you click just ahead but it takes you 10 minutes further instead of 1 minute, so I ended up going back and forth looking for the cards. I appreciated that Kristie showed all of the finished cards together at the end of her session. That's really all I needed to see.

Last night I watched Vicki's class. A bit more technique there, and less advertising. (I had to smile when she used washi tape instead of the SB.com "mint tape" to secure her dies before cutting) Nothing new, but fun to see the way she layers her background with inks. I have been using Oxides almost exclusively, and she made we want to pull out some of my neglected Distress inks to play with. I really like her classes when she prerecords them like this. She stays more focused and there is less chit chat and more actual creating. We are leaving to go for brunch soon, but I hope to skim through the other classes later.

Went back to finish watching Simon's class, but the sound cut out. I didn't have the video muted or my computer muted, but I wasn't hearing anything.

I did the very first SBCfest and yes it is all about buying their product, but it is FREE. I didn't have time to watch this time around, plus in a major freeze until my new room is set up in the next few weeks!
