Hello Pea friends, welcome to the weekend! My sketch today is made from another layout by Dorothy Guinan, this time a double page layout. Here is her layout: A Perfect Day With Friends. And here is a link to the process video on You Tube if you're interested: Process VideoHere is the sketch: And here is my layout: I have also added the measurements from Dorothy's page, only because she had them on the video. I ended up adding an extra strip at the top, which I have not included: Top border: 12” x 2.25” (x2) 12” x 0.25” (x2) 12” x 0.5” (x2) Bottom border: 12 x 1” (x2) 12 x 0.25” (x2) Photos: 3.25” x 5” Photo mats: 3.5” x 5.25” If you are a member of a challenge team, there are points to be earned. Create something with this sketch for FIVE points. Add the twist on any project for ONE point. Add the twist on your take of this sketch for a bonus of TWO points. So, total points up for grabs...5+1+2=8. The twist for today is similar to a Tic Tac Toe, but this time I have given you a few more options. Simply include any three items from the selection below: Patterns: Dots, Stripes, Flowers Colours: Gold, Blue, Green Embellishments: Glitter, Stars, Tags Techniques: Torn edge, Stitching, Ink/Paint splatter

AussieMeg - beautiful photos and gorgeous layout! I had to sneak in an extra picture for my take and as always I struggled with clusters and my pics were a little big on the right side but...hopefully you can still see the sketch - claiming the twist with blue/green/stars

Oh WOW Linda , your page is fabulous! The colour combination is so pretty, and matches the photos perfectly. I love those clusters, my favourite kind of flowers. And I love the close up photo of Cathleen - what a cutie!

Here is my take on this sketch. For the twist, I used Blue, the LEGO pp as stripes, a tag, and a torn edge. The first page is more true to sketch than the second, but I had to go with my photos. Best Lego set EVER! by Gramma Dee, on Flickr
