This time I know two places I can find the die set. It is at Amazon for $69 and eBay for almost $100. I love this bear die. I want to make felt bears as Christmas gift tags for a special little girl and would probably make a good 10 of them. However, I really only need the bear die and not the stamps, floss, and felt that goes with it. Maybe it was only made as a complete set though. Has anyone seen this die (or one like it with the bear)? I have a Memory Box penguin one that is quite similar- but just digging the bear. TIA! ETA: I have found patterns for similar bears, but I was hoping to get the die.

What about the Silhouette store? There are several similar bear shapes on there that could work. The die cut would be about a $1. If you don't have a machine maybe someone could cut them out for you and mail them...

How big is that bear? I think I just saw a video from Simon Says Stamp with a diecut bear somewhat that shape. Did you need the stitch holes punched?

Per the Amazon listing, it's an Ellen Hutson: Essentials by Ellen - Bear Hugs die. It appears the die was sold individually (see here), but it is no longer available on the Ellen Hutson site (ETA: which is closing due to retirement as discussed in this thread). Perhaps you can search it by name on a resell site or someone on the Stamping Board has it & can cut a dozen for you. HTH, & you find it!

Craft store felt probably won’t cut well, or, it didn’t for me. Neither in the cameo nor with a die. High quality wool felt was 1000% better in the die cutter, but I haven’t tried it in the silhouette at all.

Can you look for a cookie cutter with a similar shape and trace that?

I seem to be really good at finding things when they just go out of stock or the company closes. It's a gift of mine! I do wonder about the type of felt to use. I have $300 in credit card points at Amazon. Might be tempted just to buy it, but a die at that price better cut felt.

Need to look up better quality felt. I did get about 500 skeins (is that what they are called) of embroidery thread for $10 a few months ago. Need to put that to good use.

Since I really just love this particular bear, I used my points from my credit card to get the whole set. So other than the $0.28 fee for delivery (from Amazon), it was free. I hope it cuts the felt well.
