Happy Tuesday! I'm posting this a little early as I'm meetings most of the day and don't want to forget. Today we have another Page Maps sketch. Your twist is to use something BORROWED. This might be a tool you've literally borrowed, but it could be a colour scheme you've seen, a technique you want to try, the way someone has built a cluster or layered their papers, or a product someone has used that made you think "I should use that". If you're part of a team, you can earn FIVE points for creating something based on the sketch. ONE point for using the twist on ANY project. Bonus of TWO points for both the sketch and twist on one project (so total of 8 points for that). Bonus of 500 points for completing ALL of the sketches by October 7th. grammadee

Early for the US / Canadian / European Peas, right on time for me! This is a great sketch, I am always on the lookout for good double page sketches with lots of photos.

Thanks Chinagirl828 - I want to come back and do this one again as a doublepage but for today - I did a single page with just the right side. Not sure if all the fuusy cutting counts as a borrowed technique for the twist - I'll let you decide

This is just lovely Linda. I really like that soft leafy/floral paper paired with the red and your critters and clusters are adorable. I think fussy cutting (or any technique really) could count as borrowed as we've likely seen it used somewhere before we started doing it on our own pages.

Thank you Chinagirl828 - IRL the red is more of a deep pink and matches the deep pink flowers/leaves in the green patterned paper - colours didn't photo well.

IRL the red is more of a deep pink and matches the deep pink flowers/leaves in the green patterned paper - colours didn't photo well. I didn't really notice there was a variation between the pattern and the solid, they both look red on my monitor, so it still looks like it was an intentional choice to pick up on the colours in the pp.

Thanks for the great sketch Chinagirl828. The number and orientation of the photos on this sketch were perfect for some photos I've been waiting to scrap. I find photos without people to be a bit boring, but oh well, at least they're scrapped! DSO and I went back to this same place earlier this year, and this time I got photos with us in them. Hey, maybe I can use the same sketch to scrap the newer photos!

Here ya go, Chinagirl828 . Nothing borrowed here. So no twist. Unless you count that I had to look up the site of the event and print out their banner as my title? But pretty true to the sketch--for me that is... 5k army run by Gramma Dee, on Flickr
