Hello everyone, welcome to the weekend once again! Today I have made a sketch from a Suzlee72 layout I found on Instagram. Thanks for the sketch AussieMeg and thanks for being a hostess this month. I love the color scheme on your layout. I made a note of the colors to try to duplicate the look. You have love in the gallery. grammadee , what a great birthday page. You are the best with using Color Pops/Nuvo drops. I am always amazed at your courage! You have love in the gallery. I always start with the sketch and get something in my mind, then it goes its own way. This doesn't look much like the sketch, but it started out that way but with larger photos. All the black elements are shiny gold.  California Adventure |

Your twist really had me working for this one, AussieMeg, but I managed twine, splatter, buttons, gold (the splatters), black background, stars, and inked edges. Well done! You only had to choose three, not one from each line, but I am impressed that you managed to do one from each line. I love the color scheme on your layout. I made a note of the colors to try to duplicate the look. I actually changed the colours to suit my photos. The orange was hot pink, and the purple was lime green. Still a gorgeous colour scheme that I want to use again, but for this photo it looks better with the orange and purple. Although now it kind of looks a bit Halloween-y! I shall leave comments in the gallery for both of your gorgeous pages. |

Hopefully this is close enough to the sketch - shrinking sketches down that have a lot of left-right elements is harder. White background, silver sequins, and flowers for the twist  |
