I am calling on the help (enabling) of the scrapping Peas! I am planning to make my wedding album at a crop in November and have started to gather supplies. We didn’t have a typical wedding so traditional supplies aren’t going to work. Here are the basic details…it was New Year’s Eve and we had a party first then got married at midnight. The dress was casual and it was in a large home with some Christmas decor (a 12 foot tree in front of which we got married). For the ceremony I wore a dark blue gown and dh wore a blue/gray suit with a light blue shirt. Our kids stood up for us and my dd wore a dress very close in color to mine. The men (four of them) wore light purple (not really lavender) dress shirts with the ugliest, brightest, most obnoxious (I only exaggerate a little) multicolored ties. The flowers were pink roses. So far I have decided to use navy blue, purple, white and silver as the main colors for the album. I have mostly card stock, some of it is Swiss dot textured. I have found several white and silver patterned papers (metallic silver with wedding related words on one and small hearts on another). I have lots of ribbon, some flowers, pearls and gems. I bought a couple of die cut packs at Hobby Lobby. One is multicolored flowers and the other is mostly purple but has gold accents that I will need to trim off or hide. If you’ve read this far, bless you! Any ideas, advice, products, etc? Thanks so much!!! I will add a photo for context after I post this. Sorry, I couldn’t find a single photo on my phone that showed all of us and those ties!!

Your wedding looks lovely. Your dress is such a pretty color to go with your beautiful hair. You should be able to find subtle pattern papers to go with the blues & light purple. Echo Park and Carta Bella always have nice looking wedding collections; maybe some of theirs would work with your colors. And good luck matching anything to those ties!

Those blues and purples with the bright ties immediately made me think of Shimelle collections. She uses a lot of purple in shades that would go well with those shirts. I’m thinking of some papers in her Sparkle City line, but I’m sure some things in her new Main Character Energy would go well too. myscrapbookroom.net/products/shimelle-sparkle-city-12x12-paper-pad

I love that you are putting together your wedding album, KelleeM. Have you checked out The Craft Consortium? They have some lovely marbled papers in different colour combo's. In one pad there will be some brights and some more muted mixes. And some with some foiled accents. The ones I have are red & gold. Not sure if there are silver accents. Here is one with purples pinks and navy:

I would also think the B sides to winter papers could be perfect.

What about pieces of 49 and Market Lavender and Inkwell collections? I thought this too and maybe the Viken connection. It has dark purple, teal, and blue. It may work nicely with your colors.

You all are great!
I have 49& Market 12 x 12 Lavender paper pack, Viken fabric tape and Simple Stories Vintage Indigo Garden sticker book in my cart. I love the Craft Consortium papers but can’t get past the gold accents. I really want those papers with silver!
thanks so much!

I did several layouts using the VIken papers for a wedding last summer. Loved the colors.

Beautiful & fun photos! Purple & silver individually are rare, together is unheard of, & with a wedding theme is...well, a unicorn. Although uncertain your scrapping style, consider the following: - Carta Bella - True Love Foil (silver) (each of the three patterns is available individually or together as a collection pack) - Reminisce - Wedding Day: Wedding Bokeh (reverse side) - Reminisce - Winter: Snow Background
- Bo Bunny - Brighton: Ornate- Prima - Aquarelle Dreams, including Dreamers In Love, Bloom & Blossom, & Timeless Tales - Doodlebug - Sprinkles Vellum: silver (or similar purchased locally from HL, Joann, etc.) - TCW - Micro Hearts Stencil or Stampers Anonymous - Tim Holtz: Twinkle Stencil (or other versatile pattern) used with silver glaze (e.g. TCW), silver ink, embossing ink + silver embossing powder, Nuvo/Pops of Color drops, or other medium - Enamel dots, Nuvo, or SB.com's Pops of Color in your desired shades of purple, navy, & silver throughout to unify the pages

I’ve added a few more papers to my cart. I had found the Reminisce Wedding Bokeh last night but didn’t find the others! I think I’m going to have enough variety to create my album. Now I have to narrow down the 200+ photos!

I just wanted to update this thread with a huge thank you!
I attended a three day crop last weekend and started my wedding layouts. I had time this week to complete them all and I put them into albums last night. I’m really pleased with how they came out.
