Does anyone have one of these? I'm thinking it could be a fun tool to create digitally, but I don't know a lot about it. I'd love to hear how you like yours if you have one!

I've had one for a while but just started using it recently. As I have got more into Photoshop. I like it. It feels more natural for certain things, rather than using a mouse. Just be sure you get the largest you can afford. You need room to move around on it.

I've got one but rarely use it - I just don't seem to have the dexterity!

I've had mine for a while and I hardly ever used it! I thought I had to have it but I just couldn't ever get the hang of it so it sits on a shelf.

I have one and love it, but definitely getting the biggest you can... I usually draw in a small notebook so I went for a smaller model... It didn't occur to me that the size of the tablet was the drawing area AND the off drawing area where you interact with the menu, make selections, and all the computer stuff... It means I have to zoom in to be able to draw smaller/finer details because the space on the table for drawing is smaller/compressed... I hate zooming in to draw and then zooming back out to see what it looks like... This was my first tablet so it was a bit of a trial anyways, but I immediately knew I wanted more room...

DD#1 has been using Wacom tablets for at least 5 years for her graphic art. I think she's only on her second one- she gave her first one to a friend when she upgraded for college.
Be sure to get more than one or two styluses (styli?)- DD was always losing hers in her room, backpack, family room, etc.

We have one. The Intonus 5 I think it's called. The learning curve for the pen is pretty steep, but we're doing digital art on it, not anything scrapping related. I'm super dexterous with my mouse, but the pen requires a bit of fiddling to get used to, especially if you can't afford the one that has the screen *in* the tablet. You have to train your brain the difference between drawing on the tablet and what you're seeing on the computer screen.

I have been using a Wacom tablet for about 10 years (not the same one!) and couldn't create without it. I don't use it all that much for scrapping (sometimes I use it for my digital extracting) but I use it all the time for drawing and retouching. I had a Wacom Cintiq for a job I had for three years, and THAT'S the way to go! so awesome! But they are crazy expensive, so I make do with my Intuos for now.
