Happy Thursday peas! We're marching along to the end of September, which means an end to Sketchtember. But don't fret! October will be full of fun, too. In addition to cooler weather and Halloween, Cardtober will be around to help keep you company next month. You can find more information HERE. Okay, back to the task at hand! Thursday sketches during Sketchtember will focus on color - for this final challenge, the focus is on Undertones. While all colors have cool and warm iterations, depending on their undertones, for the purpose of this challenge we're keeping it simple. Warm colors have a pink undertone (such as red, orange and yellow), while cool colors have a blue undertone (such as green, blue and purple). Choose either warm or cool colors to focus on for your project. Feel free to include neutrals in your creation. One last time we're visiting the Creating Keepsakes archives. This one appears to be from 2012. The zoomed in sample is a little fuzzy, so I've also included the link to the sketch on Pinterest if you prefer.
For my layout I've focused on cool colors (blue and purple) and extended the left half of the sketch to accommodate a 12x12 design. 4th Quarter Team Points: If you are on team, collect FIVE (5) points for creating something based on the sketch. ONE (1) point for using the twist on ANY project. Bonus of TWO (2) points for both the sketch and twist on one project (so total of 8 points for that). Bonus of 500 points for completing ALL of the sketches by October 7th. Plus, you get to add a checkmark to your monthly collection each time you meet a SKETCHtember challenge, to include in your monthly bonus points. grammadee

Thanks so much for this and all of your colour challenges this month, Ryann! Another great sketch and fun take on it! Love that you changed the circles to raindrops.

Oooooh, I like this! I just have to decide whether to stretch it to make it 24x12, or shrink it to make it 12x12.

Thanks for the sketch and thanks for hosting this month Ryann. That is such a great way to document the crazy and scary weather this year. I love your cool colors. Linda, your cool greens are so pretty. I love gingham. The neutral brown looks like a garden. I love the little garden box and the trellis. Beautiful pages I just used the left side and substituted 2 tiny photos for one of the 2 main ones. I didn't do the twist because I wanted to use the whole rainbow of colors for DSIL's birthday. #54 Happy Birthday

This turned out so great! I like how you split your title and how you stretched the sketch to fit your scrapbooking style. This is so fun! I like that you've subbed in festive balloons for the circle elements. Oh I really like this! The embellishments work so well with this sketch. I like the single color usage and the choice of papers for your photos. Well done!
