People really need to wake up and face what is happening to our country!! The glee with which these nut jobs are anticipating instituting Fascism should horrify any democracy-loving American. That’s it they are gleeful about hurting people they perceive as their enemies. It’s sick. While I think many politicians deserve prison time I’m not gleeful hoping that they get jail time. I am sickened by the things they have done. I have no confidence in our Justice system actually following through and treating them the same as us regular people so I just hope that they don’t get voted back in. |

A former Republican congressional candidate’s wife has been convicted of stuffing ballot boxes in the primary race her husband lost, federal prosecutors announced Tuesday.Kim Phoung Taylor — wife of Iowa Republican Jeremy Taylor — was found guilty of 52 criminal counts of false voting information, fraudulent registration, and fraudulent voting linked to the 2020 primary, the Justice department said. Phoung Taylor, 49, stuffed ballot boxes with election forms she coerced Vietnamese immigrants with limited English to complete, local news outlets report. Trial evidence included testimony from two Iowa State students who discovered someone else had cast ballots in their names when they tried to file absentee, according Iowa Public Radio. Despite these efforts, Taylor lost the race to represent Iowa’s District 4, but later that year he won the Woodbury County Board of Supervisors race, prosecutors said. Iowa Public Radio reports that he holds that position today. Well, I will only give Chaffetz props for buying Diestel turkey. That is the sliced turkey I buy at Costco. It is pricey but it is very good. I buy the pack and put it in the freezer. Take out a pack when I need it. But that's all I got for him. And will anyone on that side even know that he bought a "special" turkey? No, they will just see the price. Hope no one brings it up tomorrow around the table.

revirdsuba99 I will only have to worry about DH's cousin. For him to be such a liberal guy back when we first got married and cared absolutely nothing for politics, he now has opinions. I still am not sure if he votes or not. He used to not. We told him until he voted, we didn't need to hear his thoughts. Everyone else that will be there, well except for DD, will not bring anything up. Bless her though, she's a strong woman with strong backing FACTS and will throwdown with anyone!

In my world if you run for public office you answer legitimate questions period. And this was a legitimate question.
