Thank you for your replies. It appears many of us intend to buy something from this line once available, while others may need some inspiration!
My thoughts on the line: overall I love it! It definitely makes me nostalgic for my childhood. It also makes me wish I had pictures of a big vintage television or something. We didn't watch much TV when i was a kid, mostly i just watched cartoons Saturday mornings, thus this is perfect for me! I love that OA does different themes than other companies, and that OA always feels very OA, true to its own style while somehow remaining fresh. They are by FAR my favourite company for designs. This line is a good mix of cute retro prints and easy to use B sides. They just get retro so right...I especially love: Omelet paper (clouds!); Cereal paper; Orange Juice paper; Label Stickers; Shape Stickers and the tidbits. As I posted in the Santa Sack thread I did notice they don't have as many of their staple embellishments as usual...to quote myself:
no button pack, no miscellany pack, no sew fun banners, no clear stamps (2 rubber though), no mini market (GASP!), no 12 x 12 alpha stickers, no collection pack or 8x8 pad, and the border stickers and label stickers have been combined into 1 sheet. I wonder if some things didn't get produced in time or if they are making cuts to their staple embellishments?
I did just see, however, that ACOT has a listing for a collection pack for this line, so that is probably going to be available after all. Oh and no Chip N Stick...
I am very interested to hear whatever likes and doesn't like about this line.Despite OA's notoriously poor business practices, the company consistently produces lines that reflect its signature style. I especially like the male-friendly color palette, but miss the versatile mini market stickers. Like you, I'm hoping the usual embellishments offered are just delayed, rather than discontinued. However, the non-exclusive content of the December Story Kit suggests a couple alphas have been added to the Daily Flash lines. I'm hoping this means more new releases are yet to come!
As a theme-challenged scrapper, I like OA for the classic patterns featured on the reverse sides. I find Tidbits & Doo-dads ideal on the rare occasions that I use a themed embellishment.
Ha ha you beat me to it PaperAngel ! I was already going to order SS #4 because I thought they might have some Treasure Map hidden in there...but this was a lovely surprise. I too, was shocked they hadn't leaked ANY info on this line at all, wow!

I agree - I wish they would cut down on the number of image-based papers (and embellishments). It's a little much...
