Or is it just me?
Currently it's the Silhouette mat I own that is still sticky. I can find the non-sticky one...
The other day it was my paper trimmer... it was on my computer chair because I apparently moved it to make room on my desk.
ATG: always hiding under a pile of something.
Tell me I'm not alone!

You are definitely not alone. My scrappy tools and supplies are constantly challenging me to games of hide n seek.

My room is in a constant state of disaster and slightly less disaster, but luckily (knocks on wood) this is not a problem for me. Maybe because piles work for me, I tend to know exactly which pile things are in. My most used tools have a home near me and I put them in their place whenever I use them. My problem is buying something, finding a home for it, and then forgetting where that home is. That is how I lose things, probably because I own more than I can comfortably store…

Some days I spend more time looking for things I just had than I do scrapping.

I have a pretty decent sized desk along with several tool holders. This help me keep most things where they need to be, but the small embellishments are forever sneaking off into hidey holes that can a long time to find.

I opened a bag the other day and found a die I’d been looking for for three years - does that count?

I’m forever losing things in my craft area. Sometimes it’s my cat. Most of the time it’s me. Then I make a mess lifting things up trying to find whatever I’m missing.

Not often; I'm a standing scrapper & always put-away-as-I-go (as a stall tactic for time to consider choices in the next step of my layout process, since I'm both creatively-challenged & indecisive!).

This is the story of my scrapping life. I make piles. Even at crops. At some point I just get to a point where I need to put things away or I can’t even continue to work because I can’t find things.

I'm pretty good about keeping track of all my things, except for the odd occasion when I'm working on a page and have half the things stuck down and half in the moving around until I like it stage and end up losing something I thought was adhered but was clearly not.

I am a very messy crafter and my desk space is not very large. I am constantly misplacing things, particularly during live remote events when there's so much going on.

Yes - I tend to "put things away" after buying them and then cannot remember where I put them when I need them! I just had to do a hunt through my room looking for the package of black cardstock I recently bought. It wasn't in the place I usually store my cardstock because I was out of space there so then I had to try to remember which alternate place I put it...I eventually found it but I honestly could not remember!

This thread jinxed me. I read it yesterday and thought to myself - no, not really. I clean as I go and always between layouts and my scrap space is pretty organised.
Yeah -so I pulled photos, sketches, and background papers for 4 layouts last and was working through them on the crop today. And I lost one of the photos...I swear it was there last night but it's hiding very well today. I'll print a new copy and pick it up tonight while grocery shopping and I'm sure it'll show up then.

yesterday it was my little distressing tool. it's round and about 1 1/2" big so easy to lose on a messy desk. found it on the floor.
on more than one occasion, i've had to empty my trash, bit by bit, to find something that got swept up in there. thank goodness it's mostly paper bits but my trash is deep. for metal or heavy items, i will shake the trash to let it fall to the bottom and then i will sift from there.

My best guess is that Dusty (cat/scrapbook helper) knocked it/took it off the desk and the Rosie (robot vac) got it caught up on her

For the longest time, it was scissors and adhesive. Then, I got one of those tool caddies. It MUST be in front of my space when I'm scrapping, so I remember to put them back in the pockets. I saw the cutest video on Instagram the other day of a lady looking for her scissors everywhere and thought I can relate. I don't remember her user name though!
Lately, it seems to be paper. I vaguely recall having something that will work with a photo. I don't find it and 20 minutes later I'm looking at my embellishments instead.

The number of craft items thatve gone missing that I’ve found in the fridge or pantry… I get hungry when I craft!

I scrap a lot of events so there are usually 3 plus pages. I’ll get my papers together, my embellishments and so on I place them in nice little separate piles. That lasts like 5 minutes. Where is that sticker sheet? My letters I cut out? Those tags I wanted to use? Even my scissors are hiding.

Not just you @breetheflea. Evidently I'm not happy unless I'm working surrounded by stacks of supplies with tools hidden beneath. Currently I've been trying to find my edge distresser; haven't seen it for months.

I don't lose things, I just forget where I left them. It's just a reason to head to a craft store to spend even more from my craft budget. I just like to support the craft.

Yesterday I lost my scissors, my phone and my roll of tape! Luckily all were found, but I caused a bit of a landslide of paper in the process.

Yesterday I lost my scissors, my phone and my roll of tape! I am ALWAYS losing my phone...to the point where my kids know that if I ask on chat 'hey can someone call me" it's because I'm hoping a ringing phone will be a located phone

Constantly. My crafting space is small & if I would put the item away after each use, then this wouldn't happen. I leave it out and it gets buried & then I'm looking all over for it. Plus, with not having a lot of storage space, I'm always fitting something in somewhere & then can't remember where.
