They all fit nicely in there though!

The grass is always greener . . . They were nicely contained, ready for the farmer.
Cows make a dreadful mess of your yard when they get in. And they can jump fences.

That takes me back - there was a small patch of common ground at the top of the road where I lived as a kid. Under an ancient ruling cows were allowed to roam even though it was a residential area…they would wander from the nearby forest. And us kids used to herd them further down the road and into neighbours gardens which we thought was hilarious at the time - whoops!

I'm sure the owners of that garden are going to be thrilled with the neighbor herding them into their garden.

I love cows, but don’t especially want them in my garden! 😄

Cows are just not super smart, it seems. You are correct! Cows are NOT super smart. Cows are dumb. Cows are obnoxious pains in the patoot most days! LOL "The Cows ARE OUT" would get even my slowest kid moving fast. Real shoes on and out the door into the nearest vehicle as soon as possible. The more hands on deck, the easier it is to get them back where they are supposed to be. We work so hard to keep good fences, but no matter what - they get out sometimes. It's the deer rut season now and hunting season... so the deer are on the move. I deal with fence wraps nearly every day. They jump the fence, but don't quite clear it sometimes and pull the hot wire into the woven or barbed wire, so my fence is shorted out. Then I have to find and fix the short and just hope the wire isn't broken. I am off to do that now before a long day of hauling corn. Ugh. I'm pooped already.

Next time I need to let out a good curse word, I'm going to say "Oh Biggleswade bullocks!" for fun.

Who knew that cows were such..... sheep! That's exactly what I thought! And I did know that. One gets half a thought in its head and decides to do something off-track, and they all go along and watch. How funny that was to see them all in the same tiny garden. I do think though, that if the residents had been grumbling about this for so long, why did they have such a poor excuse for a fence?

They may be dumb, but they know how to get through a hole in the fence EVERY.DARN.TIME. They also know where the "forbidden" field of ___ is located and will do their best to get in that field and eat the forbidden food.
They are also very curious. Put something strange in the field and the herd comes to check it out and investigate.

I'm sure the owners of that garden are going to be thrilled with the neighbor herding them into their garden. I just went back to look, I had missed the first guy. Looked like ha had no fence.. I think the neighbor toward the top just shooooed them out of his yard, them they took down the next fence. And the third neighbors chase them away..
