Hello Peas, welcome to the weekend! How is everyone feeling after the whirlwind of activity that was Sketchtember? I haven't even touched a layout in the last week. And were it not for grammadee , I would have forgotten to provide a sketch for today.  Luckily I had one ready to go, that I didn't end up using for Sketchtember. This week I have a sketch that I made from a layout I had saved from The Digital Press gallery:  Now that the TDP site has closed, I can't link to the original sketch or even say whose layout it is, other than someone on a design team. This is the original layout from The Digital Press, it is NOT my layout. If the original scrapbooker ever comes across this post, my apologies to you for not providing adequate credit! 
I will come back and add my layout when I've finished [ahem: started] it. |

Your layout is gorgeous. There are so many details, yet the photos remain the focus. I love it!

mom and mikklynn , it's not my layout. I even wrote "it is NOT my layout" in my OP so people didn't think it was mine.  I don't want anyone to think I am claiming someone else's work as my own, so I think I should remove the layout.

No worries mom , I would just hate for the person who did the layout to come across it here and think I was claiming it as my own. I would normally just provide a link to the original layout, instead of the actual layout, but because that site has closed down, I couldn't link it, and can't even credit the person because I don't know who it is. I am pretty sure that the kit is a Humble & Create kit. I hope I didn't sound snappy, I didn't mean to. Oh, and I wanted to show the original layout because I think it's really good, and would hopefully provide some inspiration. I thought that the colours would probably appeal to more people here than the colours I had planned to use for my layout. I know a lot of people here don't like pink!  Anyway, here is MY (very pink) layout.  |

I’m not sure the last time I did a layout. This was good inspiration and gives me a goal to do one by the end of the month.

Thanks for the sketch, AussieMeg and for both examples. I love that your colour scheme is completely different. Here is my take on this.  army RUN get set by Gramma Dee, on Flickr I turned the sketch on its head. Used larger photos. Again I failed at the little corner clusters. On second--or third--thought, maybe this doesn't fit this sketch at all... I started with it. Honest. I DID. |
