Okay, this may be a totally stupid question, but this is my first time I’ve actually had a chance to participate in Cardmaking events on World Cardmaking Day, and I have very little idea where to go to see events, classes, etc. I saw the post by MDscrapaholic, but I don’t want to spend the entire day there. Or even at Queen & Co., even though I love their kits. I’m assuming there are lots of events going on, and a Google search shows a lot of places where I can visit. I know some here may spend the day on this board, but where are your favorite places to spend the day, and why? Free classes? Challenges? Giveaways? Are they online? Or Facebook? I don’t know where to start. And yes, I should have posted this yesterday. I’m not sure anyone here will even see this, because you’ll all be busy, but I’d love to see some options if you can spare a minute. Thanks!

I’ve seen some posts on IG, brand blog hops and the like, and I expect there will be a lot of videos on YT but besides getting a lot of discount codes this week it’s not really on my radar. I might check out craft roulette for the first time but I usually make cards during the week and try to do something different on the weekends. I don’t think we planned anything for the boards/challenges.

Thanks, joblackford. That is pretty much what I have been seeing, too. I thought I was overlooking something.

I don’t know what I was expecting, other than a bit more hands on for viewers, but overall, I felt like too much time was spent watching big name card makers do their thing.
Queen & Co. was an exception, although I only watched Ginger show the card sketch process, but she had everything listed online ahead of time for those who wanted to make cards along with her, using their own choice of papers. Maybe the other card maker big names had supplies lists for those who wanted to craft along, but I didn’t see them.
I think my time would have been better spent just making cards on my own. I was caught up for CARDtober challenges, so I thought I would see something really exciting and fun to try. It was okay, but not quite what I had pictured.
Did any of you find great classes or demos that you really liked?

I really liked the classes today on the SCT you tube channel. Each instructor focused on a different technique. Their blog has a bunch of posts that go along with the videos too. Also, a big discount this weekend at Honey Bee stamps.

It sounds like the SCT videos will still be available on YouTube, though, hopefully.

You can watch the replay and I think you have until Wednesday to comment on the blog posts to enter giveaways from various companies.
