Could I get your recommendation for the socks YOU feel are the most comfortable? I am looking for some new cozy socks Thanks!

For home or outside home? When I think of cozy socks I think of those ones lined with sherpa you can get during the holidays.

For coziness, I think nothing beats hand-knit socks. And I have a great collection of socks I've made for myself which I always look forward to bringing out once fall hits. Unfortunately, I think I need to switch to compression socks for much of the time, because they really do help my legs feel better. Right now I find Wellow and Bombas are both good. Some Amazon compression socks, though highly rated, just did not work for me, so I'm going to stick with the expensive but proven brands.

I am a sock fiend, I freely admit it. I threw away several dozen pairs a few months ago, and was still left with over 100 pairs. And I’ve bought 10 pairs in the last month. Nothing makes me happier than soft, comfortable socks. So now that I’ve established my credentials 😂, you must believe me when I say that bamboo are the softest you can get. I have a couple of pairs made from cashmere, and they are lovely, but expensive and not practical. I wear fine-knit bamboo ones most of the year, but I also have some knitted in a heavier rib which are great with boots. They wash well and last for ages (well, I suppose if you only had a few pairs they wouldn’t last as long 🤭). My favourite brands are Green Treat and Glenmuir, but I don’t know if those are available outside the UK.

I agree bamboo socks are the most comfy for me. I don't live in a place where I want warm feet however. For me comfort means soft and thin.

I guess comfort does mean different things to different people. I am in AZ so while I dont necessarily need them to be big/thick, I want something that is soft and cozy feeling.

Bombas. They are comfortable, they don't have those annoying seams at the toe, and they stay put. And for every pair you buy, they donate a pair to people in need. I know they made a donation of socks to our local jail, which was very much needed.

Bombas. I also like SmartWool, but think that the Bombas wool socks are cosier. I have 4 pairs of the wool crew length and reach for them first every time. There should be a sale soon.

Bombas! So comfortable and no annoying toe seam. They're expensive, but so worth it!

My favourites are Humphrey Law merino socks from Australia but I don't know if they're available in the US. They're warm and very comfortable and don't have elastic in the tops but stay up without restricting circulation.

I checked Humphrey Law's stockists page and right at the bottom they have stockists listed for both the US ( Capewoolamai) and the UK ( Feijoa Studio London).😊 Here's a pair I have sitting here just waiting for the next chilly day. 😁

Almost any that don’t fall down into my boot/shoe when I’m walking & leave me with an exposed heel and uncomfortable toes 🤣

I too have well over 100 even after purging a bunch out. Bombas hands down the best socks ever. I would guess I have about 30ish pair. I have both the calf and the shorter ankle ones, ankle ones for summer and calf for winter and boots. Choose Smart Wool hikers if you need comfy warm winter socks, they are pretty awesome too.

I'm very picky about socks. I very much prefer socks made with natural fibers because then my feet don't sweat. I've tried bamboo socks in the past and while they were great, they didn't last very long-they got holes in them fairly quickly. It could have been the quality of the brand I bought.
I bought a pair or two of Smartwool socks. One pair that is the low type of socks you wear with sneakers-my feet sweat in them every time I wear them! It depends on the quantity of wool they are made of vs. the quantity of acrylic. Too much acrylic equals sweaty feet. I really have to read the labels of what they are comprised of even though it may say "wool" in the name.
My very favorite socks are a brand called Icebreaker. I love these socks! My feet get very cold in the winter and these socks are amazing! They are made from merino wool and my feet don't get hot-they stay at the perfect temperature. I've never once had sweaty feet or cold feet with these socks.

Bamboo socks. I bought them years ago from an outlet. I can't remember the brand.

My preference is a sock with a personality over a comfy sock. Need a sloth with gold chains? I have that one. Corgi butts? Lots of those. Stonehenge? Yup that one is in my drawer also. I need to try the bamboo socks for winter.

My day to day socks are Dr. Scholls. Weird, I know, but they are just so comfy. No tight bands on the ankles or lower legs. I have both the low cut and crew length socks. They stay up and in place no matter what shoe I wear.even in boots! They are cotton and breathable. They also keep my feet warm if needed. Highly recommend them. If you have any circulation issues or great. If you don’t, they are still great! I don’t and I love them. The last a long time too!

There have been a few times where a pair of black socks might have been a good choice, but I just can't.

I've been waiting for a Bombas sale. I want to get my FIL some for Xmas as he has also done work with the homeless in his community.

I typically wear acorn fleece socks. But they are thick and not always easy to get on especially if you get them tight enough to not be wrinkly or bunch up in a shoe. One of my top 10 favorite things is wearing a brand new pair of fleece socks, so soft and cushy. But probably not really what most people look for in socks and they are kind of expensive.
For form fitting merino wool socks my favorite are Darn Tough. Unfortunately they are also quite expensive but are great quality.
