Hello all - my theme for your Monday cards is "Sets", as in a set of cards. My definition of a set is 3 cards - you may use the same papers for your set with different sentiments or the same sentiment with different papers. This week I'm asking you to use a "raised" element - in my sample below the butterfly wings are raised CARDTOBER #2 by CLAUDIA LOVELESS, on Flickr grammadee

Those butterflies are really pretty, gramma. I love what a difference it makes to lift the wings a little.

I finally got mine done. I made 7 birthday cards for some of the guys in my family. I used the same papers for each card. The papers are mostly from Queen & Co. I used the Queen & Co. sketches and die cut guide #5 that they posted on Facebook for World Card Making Day. Normally I design my own cards, but I liked these sketches, and this was faster than designing 7 different cards on my own. The stamps have been in my stash for years. Note: the paper that looks black is actually navy blue.

I love butterflies with slightly fluttery wings. This would be a good one for florals or leaves. I might have some Christmas cards to make with a little lift.

gramma , as far as I can tell, the sketches that I used can be accessed only through the Queen & Co. Royalty Facebook page files. If you have a Facebook account, you can join their group. They are very welcoming, kind people. The sketches are designed to help customers use the Queen & Co. Foundation die sets, most of which I have and love for card making (they can also be used for scrapbooking). They do have a lot of sketches on their regular website, but I got these particular sketch designs from a 3 page file that I downloaded from their Facebook site. These sketches were designed for World Card Making Day, and they are some of the nicest sketches they have ever posted. Unfortunately, since it is a Facebook page, and I only access it through my Facebook account (which I access through an icon on my tablet, not my browser), I don’t see a way to post a link to their group or the file. You will need to join have their Facebook group to access the file. However, if you don’t have a Facebook account, or don’t want to join their Facebook group, here is a link to over 100 other card sketches on their store website: Queen & Co. General Sketches

Here is my set, ten cards put together with a free 3-D card topper kit we got at the crop this past weekend. Each design comes in 3 pieces, and you assemble them with foam squares to pop each layer up. Sorry they look so dull here, but lighting when I took this pic was not that great.
