How long does a roll of tape last?
I ordered a 12-pack last March and I'm down to my last roll. I don't tape things down as much as people I watch on Youtube, but can go through a roll super fast when I'm really scrapping. I think the one I'm currently on I installed last week. I didn't scrap a ton from May-September, so I'm surprised I'm running low...
Just curious.

I ordered 12 rolls in November 2022 and ordered another 12 in June 2023. I wasn’t quite out but down to 1-2 rolls. I do make a lot of mini albums and also have a PL album and my daughter’s 12x12 hs album going. I just ordered the glitter glue to see how I like it. I have had to repair or re-stick elements, especially in mini albums, and I would rather use glue the 2nd time around.

I use a lot of tape. It isn't a time thing as much as a how much scrapping thing. I did 120 pages in Jan-April. I used a ton. Since then, I've used maybe two rolls.

I recently came home from a three day scrapbook convention/crop and I used a little under three rolls. I do tape a lot but I also use glue (Beacon's 3-in-1 or Bearly Arts). During a normal month of scrapping at home and my one night out a month scrapping with friends, I'll use about a roll a month.

How long it lasts depends on how much you use it. I always try to have 6-12 rolls on back stock so if I get on a tear on something, I don't run out.

Where does everyone prefer to order your ATG tape from online these days? I know I ordered some from somewhere years ago, but now I don’t remember where, and it’s expensive to buy it at the craft stores.

I almost always keep 6 rolls as back up --- having only one roll left would leave me panicky! I have never really thought about how much I actually use though. I guess it varies so much depending on if I am doing a whirlwind catch up on PL or if I am just doing other crafts with it.

Tape Jungle currently has a banner at the top that says there’s free shipping on ATG products. I use an ATG in my scrapbooking but also at school. That’s been one tool in my third grade classroom that has been worth the investment for many years!

I purchased a case last year (and split it, kept half) from the tape depot. With things like atg, i'm a bargain hunter because I don't want to feel "precious" about my adhesive when it gets used on work and school and house projects too. so I still have 50 rolls and figure I've used about 30 rolls in the past 18 months?

I buy mine on Amazon. I bought 12 rolls in February. I have 2 left, plus one I just installed.

I buy mine on Amazon too. I think it comes from Tape Jungle, just smaller quantities.

I ordered 12 last fall. I am down to 1 left. I make cards so not a ton used. I tape the top and bottom of the paper to attach (does that make sense?), not all sides.

I need to order more. I will also check out Amazon to see what their price is up here to compare (again, thanks to the ladies who posted this, I didnt know they offered it).

Me and my 2 gal pals split a case every 2 years or so. We get it from Tape Jungle and never had a problem.

I used to get mine from Framingsupplies.com, but it’s closed. I’m just getting to my last box. I looked at tape depot and tape jungle, but I want 3m acid free adhesive. Is there anywhere that carries the “good stuff.”

Thanks to everyone that replied, I am off to go check out all of the suggestions.

It’s good to know that I can get them off Amazon. I never thought to look there, either. I was going through the refills like crazy, and I mostly just make cards. When I scrapbook, I use a lot of layers, and I use even more on a layout than on multiple cards. I now use glue for the cards, but I still want to use the tape runner refills for scrapbooking. Finding them locally seems to get harder and harder.

Is there anywhere that carries the “good stuff.” I literally just changed my ATG roll.... It has Framingsupplies sticker on the side of the little baggie it came in. I've been ordering them off Amazon since at least pre-pandemic as a set of two, so it definitely came from Amazon... Maybe 3rd party seller?. To answer the OP... Not often enough to remember how to "reload" it without wasting a good deal of tape! And... time to reorder!

I've thought about purchasing by the case but wasn't sure how long the tape would stay good. Like if it would lose some of the stickiness? That was my worry to, and why I didn't order until I knew I could split the case. I figured 3 years should be okay, and I guestimated that I use 2 rolls/month, so 1/2 case was my ideal number.
