This challenge is to watch the video and make a Hexagon Box Card. If any of you have done my past CARDtober challenges, you know I usually put a box card in somewhere as one of the challenges, but this one is so much easier, and it’s pretty quick to make. The mechanism that pops it open is very different from a traditional box card. It requires only very basic tools, which everyone should have. You may want to have a piece of paper and a pencil to write down measurements, or simply stop the video as necessary while you make the hexagon box card (which is what I did). I used a wreath die behind my circle decoration, but that isn’t necessary. Instead of a wreath, you can cut a square, or a circle, or whatever shape you want.
This card does fold flat for mailing, but will require a 6x6 square envelope. The twist is to make an envelope for the card. Using some of the same paper to make or to line the envelope looks really nice, but is optional.
