Have you received yours? Or notice of shipping? I ordered at 7:35am the first morning (9/29) and have nothing. I asked PF for a refund last week so I could pick them up elsewhere and they simply refused.
Is anyone else still waiting on their order? Thanks!

I think I ordered on the release date as well. I received a shipping notice on 10/20, they are scheduled to arrive tomorrow, 10/25. I live in VA if that makes any difference.

MichyM when they refused to refund your money did they say they were already shipped? Or when you would receive them?

I ordered the mini ink cases that came out the same day as the inks. I received them last week. I was very put off by a portion of the email they sent about the delays. It basically said, this email is the response for any inquiries, which just really irritated me. I understand they are in a stressful situation with lots of orders in a small company. That part I understood.
But to flat out refuse to provide customer service is not okay with me. If I purchase their products in the future, it won’t be directly from them.

I was a bit irritated by the delay but I did appreciate their email and a freebie they sent. I got a sapphire jewel pack with my order. I had multiple orders in and one came in earlier this week and other 2 are on it's way and due to arrive tomorrow. I think they underestimated the no. of orders they got. When C9 came out with their new ink colors earlier this year, they faced shipping delays but did not offer any freebie and just did a social media announcement. I missed that announcement on social media and was very irked. Pinkfresh at least had the courtesy to email all customers. My C9 order was delayed alot. I am a big fan of Pinkfresh products and their customer service but my latest ink release experience was not what I expected and they could do better. I hope they learn and improve. MichyM they posted an update this morning on their FB fan page. It is below. I hope your order comes soon. If it helps, their new colors are gorgeous and their ink cube box feels very luxurious.

Thanks girls. I’m glad that most of you have received your orders and/or have confirmation they are on their way. I’ll hope mine actually went out. I’ve checked my spam folder and I have No shipping or delivery info, and there is no way to track my order on their site. MDscrapaholic, their reply to me was (I’m paraphrasing): “we are unable to issue a refund.” No other info. I replied asking why that was not possible and never heard back. Between C9 and PF, I’m getting very turned off by purchasing directly from the card making manufacturers.

They knew that lots of people will order the inks and than they had a sale going too. They should have packaged the new inks in a bag where they can grab and pack.
The few times I ordered directly from PF it was always a long wait, 2 weeks at least at he first time I was questioning if I ordered at all.
I got a light purple jewel pack.

I was surprised when I went to order the February event that I didn't have an account set up; I think it was my third order. I set one up after the checkout process and logged into it. My prior orders showed up in the account as well as the new one.
Perhaps try setting up an account, logging in, and seeing if you can then find the status for the ink order?
EtA: But, honestly, if that works, and they didn't suggest it to you, shame on them.

By the way, for those who have received their orders, could you share what shipping method that PF uses? I got into my CC info and it looks like PF charged my card on the 18th. I would assume that means that my order IS actually on its way 🤞🏻 Thanks!
ETA: oops. The charge on the 18th is for the spring event. I did get into my account and my order from 9/29 shows as “unfulfilled,” STILL.

I had mine shipped to work, because I thought they might use UPS because of the big box, but no - USPS.

After too many back and forth emails again today, it looks like a refund may actually be in process so I just placed an order from SB<dot>com (at a decent savings over PF's prices as it turns out) AND I know they'll be shipped in a timely manner. PF stated that they were confused by my email that included the words: "Kindly provide a refund to my CC TODAY." Also, no apology from CS for never replying to my email dated 10/18. Just a message that they are "busy." It is my opinion that CS at PF is a hot, HOT mess. I am done shopping with them directly, never, ever again. And yes, I still am planning on doing the event in February. I honestly do not understand how it is that PF (and C9 for that matter) feel that they are doing good by their customers.

Outside of events, I've ordered from PFS a couple of times for product. I didn't have any issues with my orders but I do have a couple comments.
1) They have serious inventory issues. Their stamps & coordinating dies take forever to get restocked. I rarely can find coordinating products in stock all at the same time. For example, the Wonderful Sentiments stamp & die set. Neither product has been in stock at the same time since it was first launched.
2) Their restock notifications either don't work or are not getting to my inbox. I've put my email in there for numerous products and never get restock emails. Or go back to #1, they have serious inventory issues.
3) They do not allow adequate time for shipping for their events. I'm floored that they think getting a kit a couple days before the event is sufficient. This really shocks me. We'll see how the next one goes.
4) They seem to be bad at forecasting volume & workforce. Taking over a month to get an order of inks shipped is ridiculous.
I do find it interesting that they said they were going to cap the attendees at 1,200 for the February event and the registration is still open. Really, they have not hit 1200 yet or are they letting more than that in and shipping will be an issue again?

It is heartening to know that I’m not the only one scratching my head over PF.
Through my early to mid twenties I managed and was a buyer for a chain of 5 local specialty shops. We also were the sole importer of specific goods from Europe. During our busy times of year we would hire temp employees to help in the warehouse pulling and shipping orders. Also, if an employee was in the offices for a day for whatever reason (our warehouse was attached) it often became all hands on deck during those times. And as was suggested upthread, this release should have been a no brained. Prep the sets, then as the orders roll in, toss them (gently…lol) into a box, attach the packing slip and label, and go!
There is no reason to be so incredibly ill-prepared during a new release.

How do these inks compare to Tim Holtz distress inks?

I suspect that some of the product hadn't arrived on release day. Nothing to back this up, except that some who ordered on release day got their items shipped pretty quickly and some waited and waited. That makes no sense if orders are shipped in the order they are received. And the only reason to not ship in order received is if some of the stuff is not there.

I actually think this happens a lot to many stamp companies. I get that they don’t want to delay a release for something that is in transit. However any longer than a 2 day delay, that needs to be shared with customers. If companies were more up front about this, I think customers would be more accepting of delays.

How do these inks compare to Tim Holtz distress inks? These are dye inks on felt pads. You can use them to stamp, ink blend and water color with them. Dries fast. 4 shades of the color in the sets. TH distress inks are dye inks on felt pads too, great for blending and water coloring techniques, but not to stamp with. TH oxides are very different its a pigment-dye combo. This is all that I know , hope this helps. I got them because : I like that it has 4 shades of the color I like the softer colors And the biggest reason, I love doing their events and not needing to figure out colors for the classes its big for me

How do these inks compare to Tim Holtz distress inks? Pretty much similar to any other dye ink on felt pads - Gina k, Simon Hurley, etc. Like previously said, distress inks are different. The stamped image isn't as crisp, but they work great for blending and smoothing and other techniques. I have them because I like that the 4-shade sets are figured out for me. If I use my Gina K, I have to figure those shades out myself. Very lazy.

If this indeed is the case then PF needs to be abundantly clear that their customers are buying a “preorder,” yes?

Do you think they don't want to talk about these issues because they don't want to talk about where their stuff in manufactured?

Do you think they don't want to talk about these issues because they don't want to talk about where their stuff in manufactured? I do think that companies should be upfront when they don't have items in stock. I love that scrapbook.com doesn't have items available to purchase until they have them in hand. With the new inks, they were delayed several times already and if they had shipping info showing that they'd be there in a couple of days after release, I can see where it might have seemed "ok" to not mention it, since it was going to take longer than normal to ship everything anyway. Problem is, customers talk in lots of forums and they know when someone who ordered after them had their order ship way earlier. I doubt that they're all that worried about customers knowing where their items are manufactured. They don't have "Made in the USA" banners plastered all over the website, so I don't think that's really all that much a concern.

Do you think they don't want to talk about these issues because they don't want to talk about where their stuff in manufactured? I’m pretty sure most of the popular stamp companies have their inks and clear photopolymer stamps manufactured in the US. All but a few have their dies manufactured in China. I confirmed this is true for PFS. If I recall correctly, there is only 1 ink manufacturer in the US. (I want to say they have Superior in their name.) That’s why most companies inks match other companies. This may have changed but this was the case as of about 6 yrs ago.

To close the loop: I ordered from SBdot com on the 25th, once PF confirmed that they would cancel my order. SBdot com shipped the next day, and my order arrived today, SUNDAY the 29th via FedEx. Talk about a big difference in shipping times!
That said, the new colors are really gorgeous. I’ve been making cards (day 2 of the PF holiday event, I hadn’t gotten to them yet) while watching the Seahawks. Once I get through what I’m working on, the very next thing I’ll do is swatch them. Yuummmm! Much as I am appalled at their business practices and think they need to hire someone to help them figure out how to be more efficient, they really do make some beautiful products so I gotta give them that!
